  1. last on motd tonight MOTDEditor Ed, MOTD Running order: BRFC v Ars. 3 x promoted wins - Swans v WBA, Wolves v QPR, BWFC v Nor, EFC v Wigan, Villa v Newc (only draw on day of wins)
  2. quiet 1st half but much improved 2nd half from what I could tell, still feeling his way into the side I think

hes a really odd player in that his build up play is pretty poor but my word is he excellent at getting in the right place at the right time
  4. really odd how bad Bent was, missed some sitters by the sounds of it
  5. he's magnificent and settled into the prem so quickly that it looks like he's been playing in it for years
  6. brought the ball forward into threatening positions excellently but final ball let him down a bit, hopefully as he plays more (it was only his 8th premier league start in total I think) his final ball will improve

some players still settling in and Tiote yet to really get going, once everyones fit and settled in the side we'll probably play around a bit more
  8. Listened to the game, good point and sounded like a good performance, bit of a shame we couldn't get the 3 points but still a point and good performance away at a place where our record is terrible lately is very good
  9. So does anyone reckon that we paid similar for our "free" transfers over the summer? no doubt and I don't like that one bit either
  10. don't think its unreasonable if they get a decent draw

  12. still doesn't say much for his character
  13. its people like McKay who are sucking the life out of football, £2.5m to him for doing what?
  14. same over here on RTE its just that with Man U's large fanbase they'll get more viewers watching that stroll in the park than City's match

Nah. At this current point in time, I'm still somewhat cautiously optimistic that this season will go well. We actually finished comfortably mid-table that season despite having fuck all for a squad didn't we? It's just that our standards were a lot higher than they are now. recall we had a shitload of injuries in that season, the fact we weren't dragged into a relegation battle was amazing
  16. Sheffield Wednesday 4-0 down away to Stevenage Sheffield United 3-0 down at home to Huddersfield
