what a save from the Wimbledon keeper
-
I'm going to put down forgetting him to it being late
-
found this while looking round red cafe found this by Andy Brassel from when he signed for Man U to give some kind of detail on the player, bit out of date but worth a look anyway
-
season ticket holder at Cork City so have a decent knowledge of the 1st division where the standards of most of the teams and refs are garbage (I often wonder if they even know the rules of the game) As for this lad their signing, could indeed turn out to be a success (don't see Derry often enough to make any kind of judgement) its just not often League of Ireland players do well in England and often head back over here, only ones who've done reasonably well I can think of are Doyle Long and Fahey
-
forgot about him League of Ireland isn't exactly a place to do your shopping if your a prem team, low quality throughout and its only getting worse with more and more sides going part time
-
not sure Albrighton had much experience before last season (though open to correction there) no harm in giving the kids a go but only with a lot of 1st teamers with them and not having a defence made up mostly of them
-
tbf the only 2 I remember before now were O'Donovan and Meyler, O'Donovan I half wonder if it wasn't as a favour to Cork who had financial problems (and continued to have them until the club folded and reformed last year) Meyler was always one for the future as he'd hardly featured for Cork before he left

Is Mike Ashley the worst person ever to have been associated with NUFC?

obviously one sided article but an interesting read -
I would offer some opinion as the closest thing to a League of Ireland expert there is on here but since my focus is entirely on Cork City I really know next to nowt other than he was good vs us last season. Very low standard though and I've seen players I really rate go over to do fuck all in England.

At the moment: Harper Tavernier Williamson Kadar Ferguson Barton Guthrie Abeid Gosling Best Ameobi THAT bad? I do fully expect us to sign at least 1 player before the season starts, 2 if Obertan is one of them. Midfield is alright, the defence is terrible. We lose Best or Ba and they've got nowt behind them upfront. that defence looks kinda shakey wouldn't want them all playing together at the same time

christ I'd suppressed all memory that he supports us yes he most certainly is -
curious events at Leeds, as the BBC have been banned from there (barring what Leeds have to do) because of a tv documentary being made on their ownership (something which the Guardian got itself banned from there due to asking similar questions) http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/aug/05/bbc-legal-dispute-leeds-united Bates has ranting more and more at people questioning the situation there and you have to wonder why, if theres nothing to hide why not answer the questions

I was way off (thankfully in the cases of the ins)
-
impressive from Dortmund, mostly anyway.
-
caught offside ffs
-
He didn't exactly light up the championship last season, could be a good move and it is essentially risk free but not sure City are willing to subsidise a loan move wages wise
-
Obertan seems to play on the right from what I've seen
-
transfers are rarely completed at weekends tbh, just so long as its done before Arsenal
-
What kind of logic is that? Of course we want new players, but that doesn't meen we want shit. thing is how does anyone know for certain he's shit? Not getting regular games for Man U (especially with Nani and Valencia as competition) does not mean he's utter shit. It would be a gamble but why not give him a go, a regular run of games could be exactly what he needs
-
right wing whenever I've seen him and football manager tells me he can play on the left too
-
so people complaining about no signings now complaining about a possible signing? give the guy a chance (if its true)
-
honestly have seen him so little I can't judge in the slightest other than it being a signing
-
Our vicepresident Josep Maria Bartomeu (who's the one to usually sign off transfers) has left our preseason camp in Dallas and flown back to Europe. Seems it could be close. the words thank fucking god spring to mind so sick of the entire thing
-
as i thought, just the porn barons trying to get his name out there to remind clubs hes alive and available
-
didn't city have a similar away kit recently? lovely kit though
