That rumour about him getting bonuses based on our finances probably peaked his interest. Is that rumour actually based on anything you can pin down or is it just another opportunity to get the boot in? I think the majority of the original posts have been deleted though. How does that prove he's on bonuses to get the costs down? its the bonuses thing that rankles me, i've said it before and I'll say it again, there is no logic to thinking Ashley would give Pardew a bonus for keeping costs down when it has fuck all to do with him, we know Pardew has little to no say in transfers so why would they pay him for something they are perfectly capable of doing themselves

Ryan Taylor at left back is the stuff of nightmares better than the thought of Perch there.......

their last signing of the summer they say odd considering I still think they need a cb to get into top 4

you know I do vaguely recall some insane linkage of Saylor to Barca

Nah. Think noises in the media and generally a rather poor window have to take the blame for that. I know generally they think we'll struggle (which we won't) but to actually be ahead of Norwich, QPR, Swansea and Blackburn can't be right. I can't see you going down but can't really see you improving on last season's 12th position either unless you bring in a quality striker. It's been surprising to see people like Collymore, Cascarino and Redknapp tipping you to struggle but can't see you going down myself. hardly the greatest minds in the history of football punditry there

same old from any media organisation where they look for the story they want rather than facts

there does seem a curious lack of interest, maybe more to do with wage demands than anything else despite him being free

this is the worst draw in history btw

Wilshire out but with Fabregas and Nasri situation up in the air means they probably won't play so thats a big part of their midfield gone
-
I'm not sure the likes of Redknapp or the MOTD pundits are aware of the existence of non English involved leagues
-
I really don't like the way Liverpool put pics from medicals up

rest of the premier league fixtures go ahead as scheduled all football league ones too

Where do you think you'll finish this season btw? 10th-12th Have you got much money to spend? As I keep hearing about the debt your in, but I don't know how manageable that is. Sorry for all the questions btw, I just find it interesting listening to what other fans think of their own prospects, rather than what the so-called "experts" on TV have to say. Not really, we've had to sell to buy really. 90% of the debt is to our owner, so it's manageable as long as we're in the Premiership really. Coyle has got rid of the Megson deadwood this close season, and although we have a slightly smaller squad, they're all better, fresher options. Plus we have a few players coming back from injury in the next couple of months. Couple more questions if you don't mind, no 1 doesn't your owner charge interest on said debt? and no 2 while tuncay is potentially a great signing you do seem to be lacking a bit of mobility up front any other strikers linked?

the deadline for weekend games is 12 on friday isn't it?
-
are they? Woodgates a crock, Upsons shite I'd be enraged if we went for Crouch, Palacios is the only possible decent signing
