Position is clear no capital investment

I'm not an Ashley supporter and I'm pretty peeved that we're simply refusing to spend money, but this ridiculous myth that Ashley is pocketing the TV money etc. just has to stop. He's not allowed to take money out of the club willy nilly, it's not how it works . So where's it gone? to pay wages, leccy, water, insurances, debt intrest and stuff. some may even have been used to pay off some debt. WE HAVE NO DEBT INTEREST overdraft

If he's not prepared to stick his hand in his pocket for the benefit of the team, he shouldn't be the owner of a football club. He has done wrong in doing nothing to address problems that are 2-3 seasons old. he made his position clear that he wasnt going to put his hand in his pocket This season aye. What happened to the Milner money and Given dosh that was promised to go back into the team? 20m a season kitty was also promised? went to cover wages that were paid to players, the clubs made large losses last few years and the money to pay that had to come from somewhere The wages are covered through the general income the club makes, so that's a load of bollocks tbf the club had for several years spent considerably more than it had coming in. the catch 22 comes when needing to invest to try to make money to pay it off or what to do when it doesn't work. Mainly due to blowing massive transfer fees on shite for so many years and selling players for next to nowt, the wages however would be covered by general income. and everything else that has to be paid for?

Sometimes words fail me. Every other f***ing post tbh. His post is exactly what's wrong with a lot on here you included. It's always Ashley's fault, you can't see the wood for the trees and always see the pessimism in any transfer situation regarding Newcastle. so what has he done good in this transfer then? cos i can only see NUFC being tightarse's and failing to show any ambition at all he made his position clear with the statement "no capital investment" thats the situation we have and any expectations of signings is foolish

long story starting with his gf having a miscarriage (i think) and him lying about grandmothers deaths to get out of irish squad to spend time with her (tbf he probably wasnt thinking straight at the time) since then hes professed little interest in playing for ireland preferring to train and spend time with family despite being asked more than once

Just listened: Just jotted down notes when listening to it, so the above is paraphrased slightly. serious?

I realise you were going for the opposite but that sounds like an endorsement of our policy more than anything. i rather agree

do we need another cb when we have 5 on the books already?

Not sure I agree. Think we've got one of the weakest goalkeepers in the Premier League starting, possibly only Gilks at Blackpool I'd consider as being worse. there are worse keepers than haper, carson is dogshit, almunia garbage dont even get me started on green, kirklands so overrated its not even funny. Stupid post tbh. Green has his moments but wouldn't have been beaten by two of those goals tonight. Nobody rates Kirkland anymore, and no, it isn't funny. green was utter garbage for west ham all last season and he aint improved for his time in africa those moments are happening all the time for him
