  1. Possible silly buggers from NUFC to speed up Spurs. agent would be my bet
  2. You've got until the post slammed window midnight deadline to decide. MAKE YOUR CHOICE I absolutely agree that both sides can be held at the same time i think he made it clear he wanted to go and that was that (like Ian says). I'm not convinced he would have stayed even if we'd avoided relegation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Time to move on and accept we're in the Championship and have had to cut our cloth accordingly. Think Rafa's done a very good job and I'm actually glad this window is closed and looking forward to the season. Yet we can't get on with it because there's an international weekend. Bloody stupid that the season stutters and limps on for a few weeks, season starts but everyones concerned about the transfer window, then it shuts and we have 10 days to wait. The transfer window should before the season starts. whose season though? Englands starts earlier than most so should englands window be closed but Germany/spain etc be open? And thats not getting into the summer leagues. Personally I'm not a big fan of the window system as I think its the major reason for the stockpiling of players at rich clubs (eg chelsea) and football seemed to function just fine before the window was introduced but about as much chance of me becoming fifa president as that being scrapped.
  3. on his day he could be an unstoppable player, sadly for whatever reason those days became rarer as time went on and he clearly had no interest in staying regardless of relegation. Personally I'm just glad the entire nonsense is done with, would have been nice to reinvest the money this window but might be better to save it for either emergency jan fund or (hopefully) a nice little booster to the fund if we get promoted where it would probably be better spent than now anyway.
  4. good riddance to what is obviously a complete prick as well as lazy bugger
  5. Because they thought they'd get him for cheaper as no-one had bid for him Levys desire to do "great deals" constantly costing spurs
  6. so why didnt they do that this morning
  7. idle curiosity how much have Villa gotten back in?

    Fernando Torres

I see what you did there
  10. You expected us to invest more than what we received for Wini/Townsend/Sissoko in the Championship? Expect? Nah. But why shouldn't we invest at least as much as we've brought in? Because we'd be buying for buying' sake. We've already done enough business. would have been nice to get another wide option in but eh at least this provides a nicely sized January fund if needs be
  11. can someone fucking sign him already
  12. Ive been watching for 5 minutes, its utter gash. I enjoy the stupidity of it all although I do miss the weirdos that gathered behind the reporters
  13. Ashley supports money coming in
  14. Chelsea agrees deal for Luiz with PSG

  16. Bony to stoke, good signing that
  17. It's an early bid, an unsettler if you will. Edge it up to 25 and and a transfer request and I think we'd have a deal. how much more unsettled can we get with Sissoko? Every man and his dog knows he's wanted away for a while. Unsettled enough to submit a transfer request, boosts the bidding teams bid by 10% iirc and could be the difference between moving and staying....see the Carroll transfer. maybe if this was a week ago but at this stage your paying a premium just because of how late in the day it is and Levy seems to want to do it on the cheap at the last minute which given the tv money everyone knows prem clubs have is not going to work.

  19. forgive might not be the right word but I'd be willing to let bygones be bygones in the highly unlikely event of actual success happening. Part of me wonders if with Ashley if he had gotten a chairman/chief executive with more experience in football admin would things have gone better and Ashleys real fault is just being very bad at appointing people to handle the day to day for him.
  20. I think its kinda obvious Madrid had no interest and that was his agent trying desperately to get interest in him. As for Spurs, didn't they make a stupidly low (relative to this summers market anyway) bid for Zaha last week even though Bolasie had gone for twice as much already so why would palace sell him for that. I get trying to be pragmatic and get the best price possible but come on you have to be realistic unless spurs are going down the classic for nufc "we tried" approach
