I actually have very little doubt that he will be good when he plays for us. The only things that annoy me about it are that it makes it even harder for Armstrong to get a chance and it's a very short term solution true but given the clubs put everything into getting up this season or financially we could be in a lot of bother and the knock to rafa's reputation if he failed on that then I can understand the short term thinking
-
this is an odd one, woudn't have thought a 33 year old striker would be a target but his record in recent years is superb and any time he's played for ireland which is when I've seen him most he works as hard as anyone
-
is there anyone at arsenal with the authority to dare question what wenger wants or fire him if it came to that? I highly doubt it
-
yep and after him I'm fairly certain its Elliott I would have thought Dummet and Armstrong have been with the club longer, dunno for sure. technically but if we're on about being actual first team players then no

Shame but if there was one position we could let someone go it is a goalkeeper and he obviously wants to try and get a place in the national side which he just wasn't going to in the championship.

http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,98176.0.html this whole sensibly buying players to replace what we're selling is worrying
-
so long as he's replaced fine
-
could be they don't really want twitter facebook etc but its good for their "brand" etc so hey why not pay someone to mind it for them and they can deal with the god knows how many innane idiots praising/insulting them. Also yeah having the extra person between you and saying something very very stupid does sound like a good idea

1-0 Watford

Should break the bank for this lad if I were Brighton I wouldn't sell him, with him they have a good shot at promotion and a much bigger payoff than we'd offer
-
no manager can go into that club while Cellinos there and seriously think he's going to get a fair shot
-
seems a sensible move

That would potentially reduce the fee we could command, so we're probably actively discouraging it. true but as it stands theres no fee full stop and clubs are hardly beating the door down to sign him.
-
could someone just fucking buy him already good god I am sick of this shit

It can come into it for City like. They've already been fined by UEFA IIRC. which as a punishment for spending too much money seems a bit daft
