  1. I'd rather just give them to whoever bids the most money (and thus gives us more money), if that means Sky get a monopoly on it, so be it. I'd rather Sky had every single game than the current Sky + a PPV channel (or premium channel, whatever).
  2. I'd imagine it's got something to do with the multitude of silly questions you ask/complaints you make in this thread. Just a guess.
  3. A treble of Germany to score first / Germany to score last / and Germany Clean sheet on BV gives odds of just under 2/1 which is better than the odds of around evens that you can get elsewhere for Germany to win to nil. That is of course unless I've missed some glaring loophole. The problem is BV are quite strict when it comes to placing "related" bets as accys. But I'll give it a go anyway. So is everywhere. You can very rarely pick two (or more) selections in a multiple that affect each other. Such as earlier you were complaining about them not accepting an 8 fold on stage of elimination, yet every selection would reduce or increase the odds of at least one other so there's no way you could place a bet like that. Still....... fucking chicken. Well, no. For example if you had Germany as winners in the 8 fold that would take Greece going out in the quarters for granted, so you couldn't then add the Greece to drop out at the quarters selection to the bet to increase it's odds. As for the Tennis bet, I don't know. Nadal reaching the final doesn't have any direct bearing on the top French or Argentinian player (or it might, has the draw for the whole tournament been made?), but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't allow it. In my experience, Bet365 tend to be the most lenient with this sort of stuff, for example with the basketball, and other sports, they'll let you double up handicap bets and total points bets on the the same matches whereas most other places don't allow it

  5. They'll have it eventually I'd imagine, they've got it for the first game. Currently 11/10 at Ladbrokes.
  6. Really nothing in this round that interests me much. Like I've said I may have a small bet on France and I'll possibly stick something on England to qualify, but I'm not confident enough to part with too much. I don't really see much value in the first two games. Germany's price is too low to make it worthwhile. Portugal should go through, but 1.8 isn't tempting enough as I could easily see it going beyond 90 minutes so I'd only be interested in backing them to qualify and once again the price is too low.
  7. Yes. http://www.itv.com/sport/football/euro/update/2012-06-20/itv-to-show-germany-v-greece-and-spain-v-france-live/
  8. I'm not sure why, considering they've cost be quite a bit of money already, but I fancy the French to be the shock of the round. Spain looked laboured against both Italy and Croatia, they even made hard work of the Irish game at times. I just can't see them going all the way this time round. Obviously France have hardly impressed themselve, but they were in good form going into the tournament and the Swedish result could be a blessing in disguise, giving them a much need kick up the arse. And if that wasn't a blessing in disguise, losing Mexes to suspension definitely is. I definitely won't be backing Spain and I may have a small flutter on the French.
  9. Aye, sometimes good, consistent performances can go unnoticed vs stand-out ones. Ronaldo for example was excellent in their final group game and would probably deserve a place on the basis of that, but was gash in the first two. Although I think Khedira's been just as good in the German midfield, plus offers you something different to most the midfielders that have been mentioned. Anyway, shamelessly copying the core of Disco's team, I'd go with: Casillas Gebre Selassie Hummels Lescott Alba Jiráček Modric Pirlo Dzagoev Mandžukić Gomez Special mentions also for Debuchy, De Rossi and Blaszczykowski. Edit: Actually, aye, Gerrard probably deserves a mention too.
  10. Schweinsteiger's another that seems to be getting in based on who he is rather than what he's done. Granted he's part of a good Germany team, but he's not really given a stand out performance. Based on the performance against Spain the other night Modric is probably worthy of a shout. Jiráček's probably been the Czech's stand out player, Gebre Selassie's a good call too.
  11. Silva did nowt in the Croatia game, nothing to remember at least. Also, has Cabaye really been that good? Or is it just the fact he's ours?
  12. Should've been a single. I think. Returns £400+ if the second horse wins. Beewww, third last after setting the pace.

  14. Stuck my final £2.50 on Ceiling Kitty/Kinetica EW double.
  15. Wasn't anywhere near to be fair. Nah. Briefly challenged, but then SYT went up a couple gears. Paddy briefly had him at 5/2, but I passed as I'd already nailed my colours to Carlton House's mast and I didn't really want to bet today (freebets aside).
  16. Stuck my bet on Carlton House. Although I now think I should've went with Chachamaidee in the next race instead.
  17. TipsForGrabs ‏@TipsForGrabs @GetYourTipsOut we have a tip from a family member in the stables, NAHRAIN will come nowhere near a place. Laying this horse is a must!
  18. £5.50 free from BetFred from a Facebook promotion they did last night (free £1 FGS bet for everyone). Think I'll stick that on a Aljamaaheer/Chachamaidee/Carlton House trixie. Got another £20 freebet to use on Ascot too, not sure where that'll be going yet.
  19. £27 (of freebet winnings that need to be played through a few times ) on Thunder. Wanted to double it up with over 192 points, but they wouldn't let me.
  20. Thread clearly needs to be named after us. Holy shit. Just realised I've made a profit 4 days in a row. If Russia hadn't fucked up a couple nights ago I'd be 7 on the bounce.
