Under Dinnis i think we didn't win in the league for 20 odd games or something so it might have a little while to go yet. I've got that 130 years Anniversary NUFC book with all the results in it, but i can't be arsed to actually find our worst away season. I did have a go whilst taking a dump on the bog and i got back as far as the late 70's. So you could be right.

99 games in charge. I think he'll be sacked after his 100th. (I hope anyway)

Sooooo.... 7 points from 39 2 wins from 18 Worst away record in the league No away win all season Worst away record in over 30 years (might be closing in on Dinnis!) Lost to the worst away team in the entire Football League Lost to Reading at home for the first time in our history Our goal didn't come from open play No goals from a corner since October 2011 We are yet to come back from a goal down to win under Pardew in his 25 months in charge And he's still in a job...
  4. Great OP and last post there. I'm only 19 but i've slowly fell out of love with football the last 4 or so years. It's just not the same buzz as i used to get when i first had my ST in 2001, fast forward 12 years and it's became a chore to go and watch us play. The buzz i got under SBR and KK (Mk 2) and to a lesser extent Hughton has long gone.
  5. he says the exact same s*** they all do (I know you're being sarcastic btw) but for some reason, maybe because he says it less eloquently, people think it's different. Footballers are famously dim, yet are given the chief analysis roles, it's utterly baffling to me. I wouldn't mind James Richardson presenting the matches and a couple proper experts with a guest (to appease the masses). I wish Vickery did british footy (saying that I get the impression he still knows more). Jeff Stelling is a perfect example of someone who deos a great job with no history of being a pro footballer.
  6. It could have been so different if he had backed Keegan over Wise (such a retarded decision every time i think about it). But the real downfall seemed to be when Llambias came in for Mort in June 2008, since then it's been mishap after mishap. I did enjoy it though when he first came to the club. That first year or so was such an exciting team, he was in with the crowd, he seemed to be one of us and everything seemed to be going quite well on and off the field for that short period of time in his ownership
  7. Dinnis Gordon Lee must have caused uproar when he left for Everton mind. Was it half way through the season or summit?
  8. Challenge for the title until it's mathematically impossible. Then 2nd, then 3rd etc etc... Seriously though it is such a shame that the same three clubs have won the title for the last 20 seasons apart from two outliers (Blackburn and Man Citeh) When you look through the league winners since the 1890's or whatever it was, nearly every season a different club won the championship. The same with the F.A Cup, it's been the same clubs winning the F.A Cup since the late 80's

I'd love it if your wife stumbled across this forum, and worked out how to advance search your posts and just type in 'Mrs Bimpy'
  11. Lets hope It's a lad. Get a pre contract signed. The son he already has started training with our U7 academy kids aged 5. A right little hard nut, according to a lad I know who coached him. He's not hard, far from it. Dirty little s*** though. He's a diving cunt that's for sure

Needs to be a balance really. There need to be football people to suggest a goal to move towards and businessmen to ensure they get there in a sustainable way. As wonderful a manager as he is, I certainly wouldn't want Kevin Keegan to be our owner It's obvious thought that Keegan is right here though, and he said this over 2 years ago and nothing has changed

Worst maths ever. But we wouldn't need to offer him the whole 70k imo. 55/60k would probably be enough to lure him to the club. Maybe not nowadays i suppose. And i'm sure Colo will be on more than the supposed 40k wage cap anyway

For the sake of maybe £500k a year, i can't believe we've lost this lad to QPR. It could be the difference of fat boy losing £50million or whatever it will be next season.
  16. No amount of can describe how i feel with this club at the minute
  17. Yeah like the time the ball hit his hand accidentally on the line in the WC 1/4 Finals
