Valencia sign Bakkali - also Mendes-repped () on a free. This lad looked like the next best thing a couple years ago, but fell off the face of the earth. I guess it's a decent punt on a free.
-
He's had plenty of decent loans though.
-
It's all 3rd party ownership malarkey. Since it looks like FIFA are going to shut down the whole thing, they needed to transfer those players to Valencia. Lim has said he's gonna pump some extra €100m in shares (which would balance the books, dunno if it would run afoul of FFP though). Amidst that, Valencia's president and DoF have left the club, after being completely ignored in all those dealings.
-
No. Most of that money has been used to buy players they already had in the team (Rodrigo, Negredo, Cancelo, André Gomes...), which were on loan or owned by Lim/Mendes' fund. IIRC they have only added Bakkali and Santi Mina, which are both young prospects.

Dunno, there's a lot What were you thinking about?

Spending league so far. http://www.mundodeportivo.com/r/GODO/MD/p3/Futbol/Imagenes/2015/07/05/Recortada/img_hnavarro_20150704-192329_imagenes_md_propias_hnavarro_top-ten-euros-kibD--572x1267@MundoDeportivo-Web.jpg

Fuck, just noticed they've spent €100m already, on pretty much fuck all.
-
That's technically not possible I'm an engineer this image has my mind spinning............I could probably build something, defiantly do you a solidworks model It's not the mechanics of the act that melted my head, more the consent issue. Split personality, maybe.
-
I too would like to know this, me and my brother are planning on going out to Barcalona in October and would like to catch a match. July 14th.
-
Suárez would have to sue them for breach of contract I suppose. I don't think he's bothered right now. Honestly, I'm pretty sure Suárez or his agent would have pressed the clause if Suárez really wanted to go to Arsenal.
-
Apparently another Mendes rep That said, Santi Mina is an exciting prospect. However, it's way too early for him to move to a club like Valencia. He wasn't even a starter for Celta yet.
-
Him and Benzema would have fun reenacting Fast and Furious in the Madrid sierra.
-
Valencia splurge €10m on Celta's forward Santi Mina.
-
I like Arsenal myself, easily my second favorite English club. Might as well like them given the way they mug us in the transfer market. They should name a stand in the Emirates after our directors of football.
-
Did he ever actually join them?

Get in There isn't nearly enough bollock punching in professional sport. Good lad To me, it looks like a wasted opportunity to have punched one of the most punchable faces in world football. http://img.uefa.com/imgml/TP/players/14/2010/324x324/97690.jpg

Loving Cathro going "not so fast" here http://cache2.asset-cache.net/gc/479258716-newcastle-united-return-for-pre-season-gettyimages.jpg?v=1&c=IWSAsset&k=2&d=X7WJLa88Cweo9HktRLaNXhnBaDrv4zDGaeT6DFX3dVWI8KpUKOtqJbdAJt63SzEhKqfiBKIiFExfTQrl7j6pBw%3D%3D I hope he's talking to somebody attempting to take a floated FK. Or to Mike Williamson after he's put on his playing shoes.
-
It's been done before, i wouldn't concern yourself with that. There's plenty of other things to be concerned about though Why, gee, thanks Cathro was actually one of two assistant managers at Valencia, even.
-
He's always played on the wing for Atlético, drifting inside. Lucho may want him to close out games - something we've always been bad at this season - or to play him instead of Iniesta. But he's not better or that much younger than Iniesta. I just can't see him being that useful. He certainly isn't a Xavi replacement either.
-
and what's the problem with it? He'll be 29 by the time he can start playing for us, in a team that suffers from an aging midfield.
-
I know Milan will always be Milan, but seems a bit of a backwards step from playing with Sevilla in the CL. They probably still can pay better wages than Sevilla, though.
-
Bacca to Milan confirmed.
-
Turan's deal has been postponed until our election is finished. Candidates had protested that a "lame duck board" had not authority to spend money on transfers. He might wait, or go elsewhere now.
-
Balotelli would be a terrible idea, imho. Sure, there's a player in there but after so many wasted chances I'd rather have somebody else try to work the miracle of saving his career.
