I love when this kind of inter-city rivalry stunts pop up from time to time. The company that supplies Espanyol's team bus "mistakenly" painted Barça's initials on the roof. It was then repainted on the spot when it was discovered and furious Espanyol fans took twitter by storm: http://img02.mundodeportivo.com/2014/10/29/El-autocar-del-Espanyol-antes-_54418407654_54115221154_600_396.jpg

He was stellar for them. To be frank we've played better with him in the pitch than with Iniesta. He's far more dynamic, despite not having his ability. Sadly he seems to share the Alcántara injury genes.
-
Isn't he about 40 by now? 39! He looks like Maradona in Liga Adelante, though, with the slower pace and acres of space he's afforded.

The whole badges system is, imho, stupid; if a club wanted to appoint a drunk illiterate stevedore to coach their first team, it's their prerogative. But if the rules are there, they are the same whether your name is Zidane or López.
-
He's beat Valerón for the second award, who was the favorite. So, technically, you have a player that's better than Valerón.
-
No, he won Liga Adelante Young Player of the Year. He's also won the best Attacking Mid one, btw
-
That's the equivalent of Young Player of the Year (for Liga Adelante) in Spain.
-
And Villa fans seemed upbeat about Lambert at the end of his first season in charge. I remember brummie being optimistic on here.
-
Stoichkov in the mid-90s was just that, imho. It could be loads of players with that description. From Stoichkov to Cantona to Yaya Toure. Don't be so hard on him. He's American.

You can get all those good cheap foreign players because the EPL is one of the best shopping windows in the world, and a great place to go to push on you career. Scotland? Not quite so.

Look at this dickhead. I always loved tricky trequartistas/attacking midfielders spraying magical passes and having the odd run at goal, like Laudrup or Rivaldo; he just superseded them all

Lionel Messi.

every team needs a c*** imo. I don't think Chelsea are in short supply tbf
-
s*** for 88 minutes, losing 1-0 and then get two goals and now a goal up with a couple of minutes to go. Ref has been a complete c*** to Villarreal That's Sevilla for a lot this season. Be wank, pull a couple late.

41 before boni (I don't expect any). -
I don't have Chelsea defenders in my FF team, so I welcome the equalizer.

Takes some of the sting off captaining Agüero this week. It's going to be a pretty awful week nonetheless, I'll be lucky to break 40. -
I haven't dared to look at it; I'm instituting a personal media ban until later in the week

Just came back from the beach to see this. Chuffed for Pérez I'm going to gloryhunt on you so I can celebrate a win this weekend. -
It's just that my record of watching it together with Real-supporting friends is pretty awful; even during the times when we were beating them senseless I always seemed to catch the odd draw or the La Copa defeat

Rakitic didn't play, he has been class and brings everything you think we lack: class and dynamism. But was weirdly dropped for Xavi. And I'm not "positive", we were outclassed. It's just that I do believe there's more than what was on show yersterday, and we'll get better throughout the season.
