  1. Brilliant manager, but always such a sore loser...
  2. No, continuous fouls do exist and if contact or fouling does continue into the box then it is a penalty no matter when it started. Most common example is shirt pulling as a player runs into the box. That said, I'm not entirely convinced this is one of those, but weirdly I haven't watched more than a couple repeats.
  3. Particularly one that hasn't won the Male Swedish Athlete of the year award.
  4. That's what I like about us. We are lacking that certain spark we used to have, but I love that we stick to our guns. This is the football that I like to watch. The aim is to be better at it, not to change it.
  5. So happy, this is the best we've played against big opposition in ages. Hope we can get in an upwards trend again.
  6. Because he hasn't played in the PL? He's played for pretty much all the top clubs he could have FFS 2 years in Spain granted, but most of the rest in that horrible Italian bollocks and now France. Just a shame such a great player has been wasted like that. Jesus Christ. Ron Brittania is seriously the most fitting name I've ever seen anyone be called. Get a grip. Where could Ibra have gone to make his career better? The PL, it's not the be all and end all man, he's played for Ajax/Milan/Juve/Barca he's literally don't the opposite of waste his career Saying Ibra has wasted his career playing for 5 historically enormous clubs in 3 nice cities (Turin being the only meh city). Aside from 2 years at Barca he's played for the biggest clubs in leagues outside the big 3 that average less in attendances than the Championship. He's a better player than that. Just one year actually. He's one player that I agree should have achieved more given his ability (which is saying something given his trophy cabinet). I rate him immensely but his eyes haven't always been on the prize and I feel he could have been mentioned in the same breadth as Messi or Ronaldo, he has that much ability. Sadly, he's been coasting since he left Barça, being a king in a frog pond. But can't fault his career up to that point. That's such pro Barcelona drivel I'm a Barça fan But dunno how that's pro-Barcelona drivel. I just said that after stuff broke down over here he seemed to give up and chose destinations with little ambition. Little ambition? Really? Won the league every year except one since he left no? Been close to going to the semi's in the CL multiple of times as well. Close to beating you guys. I'm no Zlatan lover, but that's harsh on him. King in frog ponds. And I love him as a player, I really do. That's why I wish he'd achieved more.

  9. We have a chance then. (Ok, he's not as shit as he used to be)
  10. You looked pretty awesome in the second half against Sevilla, mind. Aye, but Sevilla had already capitulated so we were just strolling by.
  11. Not too confident tonight, bar the game against Rayo we've been quite shit since January, and ManCity are in good form. But who knows...
  12. Love seeing us play Rayo, but it's the kind of team that flatters us. City are in better form right now. I've never seen Rayo play before but i was surprised at how expansive they tried to play, i'd have expected them to press and close down the space but they did they opposite which as you said flattered Barca....not that Barca needed to be flattered. City will be a different game, i'd imagine Neymar would have been challenged 3-4 time prior to unleashing the marvellous strike. Rayo are always like that; whether away at the Camp Nou or at home against Osasuna, they always go for it. It's commendable but they get plenty stuffings.
  13. Kind of goal Long range screamers, those are a rare sight at Camp Nou.

  15. Neymar That's the kind of goal we never score.

    MLS

Nobody having a laugh at the proposed "Miami Vice" name though? That's like renaming West Ham "Eastenders".

I'm not a Florida expert, but if there's a bonafide regional rivarly between both cities, then it wouldn't be manufactured. A lot of football rivalries are an extension of that - weren't Sunderland and Newcastle rival cities before they had football teams? Yes, MLS rushes too much in order to fabricate football culture, instead of letting it develop naturally (all those rivalry cups between cities hundreds of miles apart...). But there's a lot coming from the Orlando camp that sounds fresh. Heck, even how both franchises are coming to be already gives some ammo for banter.
  18. Messi scores, that should seal the Clásico Final. (as bored as you might be by it, Clásico Cup Finals aren't that a common fixture. This would be third in 25 years IIRC)
  19. That just shows how awful Arsenal's defensive positioning in that particular still. They should be blocking more of those pass lines, not just Touré's. The idea behind building a triangle with your players is that it makes easier to create those clear lines and move as a unit while attacking, but the opposition has to adjust.
  20. Not watching, what's going on? Threw the cup semi by playing the kids, objects thrown, trouble in the stands.
  21. Sad night for Atlético, both on the pitch and as a club.
  22. I have always been impressed by the crowds they draw despite not having been in the top flight for a long time. I remember some games where they pulled 30k+ in League One!
