  1. surely his agents would end up financially worse off if he moved to san lorenzo ? His agents would probably get their fee, Colo is the one that would be worse off.
  2. Hey, I like cheap puns (), just didn't know about that place
  3. Bit of a gamble. Think of it, you'd get someone named "Iago" in your team. How canny is that.
  4. Oh, and it's confirmed Aspas' release clause is a "mere" €10m. You could get in there. Boy's gonna be a star and can play upfront, as SS or as inside forward.
  5. And I seem to recall Kirkland scored an og in that... Gotta look up the match report (yes, I'm bored) EDIT: No, seems they gave it to Bentley.
  6. Argie football has absolutely no money. There's just no point in "engineering" a move there for pecuniary reasons. No matter how you look at it, Colo will be losing money in this so I'll give him credit he has indeed a good reason.
  7. There's that year where Spurs hammered Wigan 9-0, too.
  8. Can't recall a worse FF score, I recall that Greek fella from Liverpool getting a -3 once for a sending off and shipping a few goals in the same game a few seasons ago, but that's it.
  9. Without Cronaldo, Real Madrid only managed a single shot on goal yesterday One man team.
  10. Part one of captaining Hazard worked, if he scores against Southampton I will be back into the title race in my league, hopefully.
  11. I think his homesickness problems have put off a lot of clubs from bidding for him.
  12. I watched Barça B's at the Miniestadi earlier, six goals in it. Most noteworthy thing was seeing Luis Alberto's chin live, though. http://estaticos04.marca.com/imagenes/2013/01/12/futbol/2adivision/1358020506_extras_noticia_foton_7_1.jpg
  13. Striker, can play out wide. But he's small and Spanish.
  14. Chelsea bid €10m for Iago Aspas, according to a Spanish radio station. Quality player, Celta would be fucked without him.
  15. Real Madrid have been lucky Osasuna are crap. They have been horrific beyond belief. Looks to me they've given up and only Ronaldo gives a s*** anymore.
  16. Real Madrid are such a sad team without Cronaldo, absolutely no passion on the pitch so far.
  17. Sevilla's chairman said a few weeks ago that they'd probably be forced to sell one of their big players to balance the books, so there's some basis for this. Negredo for NUFC would be all kinds of mint, whatever you might think of him he's a great target man while being pretty decent in general play. Him playing the back to goal role alongside Cissé (like he did with Fabiano or Kanouté) would just make too much sense. But I think the pricetag will be a bit over what your board is looking to spend. Sevilla do drive hard bargains, and they'll probably want to fleece some rich English club.
  18. He probably still thinks he's at Spurs.
  19. The international transfer market "expert" in one of Marca's TV shows (they have their own TV channel) linked you with Dani Güiza two days ago. It looked completely baseless, but thought on saying it here just for the fun. He's been useless for a few years already, but I really wouldn't give much credit to the pundit that said it, strikes to me he just googles internet rumor sites for his "exclusives" or just draws names randomly off a hat.
  20. To be fgair to them, they do have a story of taking the game to us and getting points.
  21. The Catalan derby yesterday Best home game of all season.
  22. There's trying to prove who's boss, then there's stupidity playing politics with Casillas. 1-0 Real already. Real Madrid will be allright today, Real Sociedad are the kind of open team they excel at punishing. Dropping him away at Málaga was madness, if he wanted to call him to attention, this should be the game to do it.
  23. Casillas benched again, Cristiano Ronaldo captains Real Madrid
  24. I'm planning to use it ahead of week 22 and stack up on Arse players.
