I haven't been following NUFC closely for long enough to really have an informed opinion, but from the outside I'd say Owen, purely because of the (vast) resources the club spent on him compared to his performances or just time spent on the pitch. The other signings might have been worse players, but didn't cost so much. Luque is also close, though.
