Sevilla's DoF has said that Arsenal's offer for Squillaci is "not enough". I guess they'll end up selling, but want to squeeze Arsenal more.
-
Squillaci isn't even first choice at Sevilla, would be a weak signing for Arsenal. Cover, I guess.
-
Sevilla lost 1-0.

Seville v Betis - I've seen that as lively rivalry between the fans? Well, there have been some naughty incidents in those games. But Andalusian fans are livelier than Madrid/Barça ones by far. Really, any game between Sevilla and any other Andalusian team (they hare hated throughout the region) is pretty entertaining in the stands. I like your anglo colloquialisms a lot, by the way I used to get a shitload of stick for them in the States

Milan's sporting director has admitted that they are interested in Zlatan Ibrahimovic and would like a swap deal. Swap with who? Don't think Pato is on the table.

Barcelona - Madrid rivalry runs deep and has gone on for centuries, to be frank. The animosity is there and is huge, it's just that both sets of fans aren't the most lively in the land.

Even if we don't win FA, I just can't wait to see the Villa-Zlatan-Messi frontline live. Going to be a feast of football all the same. And Tuncay is a good shout. But I like him a lot as a player and he should get out of Stoke ASAP.

To be completely honest, a Clásico has nowhere the atmosphere I have seen on a Boca-River or a Galatasaray-Fenherbace game (although I have only seen those on the telly, but presumably it will be more intense actually being there). I guess we are #1 because of the "bigness" factor.
-
Aye, was kinda shitty seeing all the celebrations on the telly all these years and not going to the Camp Nou. When we won the CL in Rome I went to Times Square and there were like a dozen Catalan tourists celebrating But knowing my luck, another barren period is coming (they started winning shitloads as soon as I moved out).
-
I doubt he'd play against you, maybe a cameo appearance.
-
I just moved back to Barcelona actually, which means Barça will win fuck all from now on (I haven't lived here since Rijkaard's first season).
-
Loan Giovanni from Spurs maybe, unless it's true that Harry wants to give him a chance. Hleb is of course, available and if I had a car I would drive him personally to Newcastle.
-
See? It's Real Madrid's fault, it always is!
-
Didn't he have a spat with Mancini? Bellamy is a great player but he seems to fall out with somebody at any club he is after 6-12 months.
-
Heh? It was still in the first page and it's the first time I "bump" it. Didn't want to create a thread for the sake of this, and this looked adequate as it is related.
-
Pet peeve of mine is players wearing stupid numbers. At least in Spain if you are in the senior squad you must wear 1-25
-
Anelka has just been hit with a 18-game ban for France. Didn't he already retire? Easy way to set an "example" then. Evra gets 5, Ribéry 3, Toulalan 1.
-
Can see them ones crossed out leaving. Mou seems to rate Gago, actually. Looks like he'll be staying.
-
Meh, feared that would happen. Like the guy (didn't think he was a signing for us too), and he goes and joints *them* That means Van der Vaart will probably be sold.
-
Under good management (will see who Villa ends up with), Ireland can be an outstanding player imho.
-
My friend that took a punt on Bellamy in our drafted FF league is fuming.
-
Blackburn are probably amongst the cheapest PL teams that are not in immediate danger of relegation. I can see why they would be a good target for acquisition.
-
Still can't see ManCity loaning Bellamy to a potential rival. Unless they don't consider Everton a rival.
-
He is hardly in Niall Quinns class as a target man. No, he's more of a goalscorer than a target man.
