I wish I didn't draw like a 3 year old, and had some fun idea... this thread is boss.

I don't know how Quaresma has been able to get a chance at so many high-profile clubs as he keeps bottling it every time.
-
Dennis Wise seems to be enjoying it quite a bit.
-
Ours was better!!!! Busquets Pinto Maxwell Messi Henry Dani Alves Andrés Iniesta

Truth be said Kaká has been ace so far in the two Real league games. He seems to be in great form for Brazil too. I confess to never having watched him much while at Milan, but so far looks like the hype is justified. Amusing that in a thread about Xisco we end up talking about Kaká and Lampard.

Gotta love Spanish commentators: "The best gift for Jarque is for his team to play against Real in their first home game without his passed captain" SURE.
-
Cronaldo on the bench for Real, too.
-
Isn't it like his first sending off in 3 years or something? (in the league)

Ibrahimovic is so frustrating and so great at the same time.
-
Ibra!!! 0-1
-
Getafe really looking up for it though. Fair play to them.
-
By the way, what the hell happened in the ManCity - Arse game? I check the scores and see 1-1 and fifteen minutes later Arse's getting twatted.
-
Guardiola seems to have gone nuts with the lineup... Messi, Henry, Alves, Iniesta on the bench and we are dire so far 0-0.

I have not seen him play as much as you lot, but to me Shearer was above all a finisher, one of the greatest in the game. Viduka - I think - was a more complete player in the sense he was more comfortable on the ball and could carry and do something with it. I remember when I was a teenager and watched the PL highlights, all Shearer goals were always him uncannily putting the ball in the general direction of the net, he just didn't participate in the buildup play like Viduka did, and rarely created his own chances. Again, I know who I'd have on my team. Heck, why didn't he just put his boots on and took the field last season instead of the fat Aussie?

If Cheryl Tweedy is the Champion's League, who's the Carling Cup?

To be honest I think it might be a good thing that ManCity ends up winning the treble or something, since hopefully it will highlight how f***ed up the sport is nowadays. I remember back in the time where a well managed and astutely built club could go all the way, now it's impossible without the cash. I know that's a bit rich coming from somebody who supports Barça, but I generally enjoy the competition less than 10 or 20 years ago. The Spanish league, for example, is fast becoming a joke akin to the SPL.

Caleb Folan? The - admittedly few - times I have seen him play he has looked useless. Running all over the pitch like a headless chicken. At least Cousin has showed that he might - MIGHT - be able to score, and I still think you'd be better off playing your youngsters.

I'm starting to like the West Ham habit of signing strikers from the past, Vieri anyone? His agent says not yet on SSN this morning, hes in talks with 5 Prem clubs and 1 Championship club. SSN now reporting that he's heading there for a medical. On the same article his agent claims he'd been speaking with Celtic, Wigan and Stoke. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5549340,00.html

Apparently Guillermo Franco has just signed with West Ham. He's past it, but I guess it's a good signing as a free agent and they really didn't have cover for Cole, did they?

It felt a bit like watching Spanish Second division on a relegated side: biiiiiig pitch, no pressing, lots of time to do whatever you wanted with the ball, and nothing to show for it. But it wasn't as nearly as bad as I expected to be honest. I went years ago to FC Barcelona women game and it was awful, awful... (of course this is a WC final, so supposedly the pinnacle of the sport).

That's not really amusing to be honest. Nice little factoid nonetheless. When he says us? Ok, I'll be changing my sig until people gets to know me more... Barca. Maybe you could just write Barcelona, Barca, or even bloody FCB. It isn't that diffcult really. I support Marseille, but I don't just go around expecting people to know what club you support. Also, one of the world's most coveted youngsters almost signing for Barcelona isn't an amusing story. It's not even a story. It would be a story if this had not occured. Why the hostility? I thought it was semi-interesting since Balotelli for some reason comes up often here. And yes, I get bored easily and post non-sense on forums, like a lot of other people.

Amusing bit of news surfaced today. Apparently 3 years ago Balotelli was on trial with us and played a few games with one of our youth teams. However his wage demands were too high and he went to Inter instead. ManU was reportedly after him too.
