Yup. People confidently predicting a win last year and we got dicked. I will take a point as I always would in a derby tbh Really don't understand this mentality..... they are s*** and only have one point all season i wouldn't accept anything less than 3 points. If i'm getting ahead of myself then so be it but we really shouldn't be accepting a point against this lot. Spot on. Anything less than 3 points is an utter disgrace. Hadaway man. An away draw in a derby is never an utter disgrace. If we turn up we should win like.

Team in performing better with a better player shocker.

Don't want to laugh too much before next week is done with, but this lot are hilarious. Relegated already. Look forward to seeing that creep they've appointed squirm in the dugout.

Started the match well and adapted to the setback impressively. He's not the tactical imbecile he is painted out to be. Well done Alan. Please don't fuck up next week.

For an INTERNATIONAL PLAYER he's seemingly prone to idiotic mistakes. Needs to sort himself out sharpish.

Aye, we've had enough bollocks this year already thanks to Altidore. 3 proper footballing countries please. -
Liverpool's odds aren't particularly appealing at all, not that I'd ever bet against Newcastle. Around evens to win at SJP. Ner. Get all over us. We'll smash the depressing freaks.

Shola leading out the Super Eagles in the Maracanã. Make it happen footballing gods. -
Aye, would have been genuinely gutted had those lads not done it tonight. Seem like a good bunch. Cue a dramatic defeat against Iran to send us home before the postcards.

For a kind old man, Hodgson can turn proper radgie.

It's an unfortunate side effect of last season's awfulness that not being overtly 'anti-Pardew' results in you being labelled a 'WUM' or a 'soopafan'. Coming around to the idea that it's probably best to leave the debate until his inevitable sacking and then we can move onto the next useless daftie.
-
Sigh, try harder. If being able to tolerate him as a human and failing to emit rage after every interview qualifies me as a soopafan, I'm guilty. Must every post mildly different to everybody else's be met with nonsense such as this? It's the same "everyone's a screaming housewife" tone every time, man. Pardew says some complete bollocks on tele, on the radio, or in the papers. People point out the shit he says and laugn at it because it's funny, or lament it because it's actually rather depressing also. Then the contrarians come in telling everyone to calm down before running off into another thread to call brilliant managers like Alex Ferguson a cunt instead. I came in and gave my opinion on a couple of interview quotes. Have no interest in being part of some sort of cult of contrarians. Certainly didn't tell anyone to calm down. Alex Ferguson is a cunt, although I'm not completely sure what the relevance is.

Wonder if he knows that a television interview on an international weekend was always a recipe for online meltdown. He likes money/the sound of his own voice too much though. Didn't see it but it just reads as more meaningless waffle. More bothered about whether he can have us competing with Liverpool next week.

By 'yesterday' I mean last season. Been at the blue crystal.
-
It's not a great post really, is it? Harps on about the perceived qualities of 'international players' without even considering the actual ability of our players And anyone who has seen us this season can't say we have been attempting to play 'conference level' football. The football yesterday was substandard, that goes without saying, but don't make our squad out to be something it isn't.
-
A decent half here, a decent half there, the whole of the 2011-12 season. Minor details. Has anyone changed their mind on the back of the Cardiff performance? I see no evidence to suggest this.
-
We all want to see Ben Arfa in full flow, nay doubt. He's our best player and by far the most exciting to watch. If a match requires a 'grafter' and we get the 3 points though, I couldn't care less who is in the XI. Personally don't think it was a case of not knowing how to use him, more a case of him knowing his limitations. It's easy enough to say that it was only Cardiff and Ben Arfa would have torn them apart, but as we saw with Hull this isn't always the case. If he continues to bench Ben Arfa and we lose regularly without him in the line-up, that's when shit hits the fan like
-
What does this bollocks mean, man? People are "so far gone" because they know he's a shite manager, it's pointless acting otherwise. He's fucking shite and in turn we're fucking shite (and on the whole we have been shite this season). If you're trying to say that people actively want Newcastle - and therefore Pardew - to fail, then aye, you're talking shite He's trolling, Broey Tribbiani. Absolute shit page after page from the usuals again. Why don't you attempt to offer something worthwhile to the conversation Jack? You have the patter of a fucking kettle.

This is true. Out of interest, do you think we are currently playing mind-numbingly boring and cowardly football? The results have been far from perfect but personally think the football has been a lot more positive on the whole. Not that this is difficult after last season like. We've shown reasonable quality in 2-3 games, but in 2-3 others "mind-numbingly boring and cowardly football" probably isn't that far off. It's an improvement on large parts of last season like, but not enough to have me exited for the season, especially when the manager is dropping Ben Arfa because he hasn't got a clue how to use him. Fair enough. I'd say the first couple of matches could fall under that description but sense then things have improved on the attacking front. Even the defeats against Hull and Everton involved some glimpses of attacking quality. Disagree with the not being able to use Ben Arfa comment. He's been our best player for the most part so far, therefore he must have been used correctly at times. I didn't want to see him dropped but it was clearly for tactical reasons which were ultimately proven effective. Still an awful lot of work to do but I don't think it's fair to say we've been playing boring football this season. Obviously it will be results that decide his future in the long-run like.
