  1. Never a pen in a million years. Shoulder to shoulder and if anything it's the Man Utd player leaning in more. Even Peter Walton who always goes with the ref on the pitch disagreed with that one!
  2. A mistake eh? Interesting to see how long it'll take them to refund the money that people (probably mostly Liverpool fans tbf) have forked out for these hospitality tickets baring in mind they haven't even refunded season ticket holders yet. Just a disgusting club really.
  3. Absolute disgrace I wouldn’t put it past this regime hawking them to corporate scousers. At anytime this is unacceptable and makes us look small time, but when capacity is limited to 2 thousand ? If any of them tickets end up in the hands of Liverpool fans when our lot can’t get in it’ll be a f***ing outrage. Of course they'll be hawking them off to the Scousers. They did that when we played them a couple of seasons ago despite 1000s of NUFC fans not even being offered the chance to buy a ticket. The crowd will probably be 50/50 that day. Thankfully I'll be nowhere near the place. Agree completely another reason why this regime is rotten to the core, they’d happily sell out their own supporters for a few extra quid. Aye done it before whilst being the ultimate hypocrites and threatening supporters with bans if they sold their own seats to Liverpool fans.

  5. He was a player I always wanted us to sign. Always thought he was far better than the teams he played for. Another gone way to young. RIP.
  6. With 15 of them sharing a small paddling pool there was always a high risk of this happening.
  7. Don't think it's meant to. Just seems to be speaking in his normal voice.
  8. I’d rather listen to Bruce, is that meant to be funny... Tbf he's got over1.5k likes so plenty of people have enjoyed it. No surprise you didn't. I understand many things go straight over your head if they don't include the words "SAFC academy" or "3pm press conference" so I'll excuse you on this occasion bud!
  9. Aye the one thing this whole charade has shown everyone is that there are no ITKs at all. Certainly no journalists or randoms who post on social media or places like this.
  10. I rate him better than Pickford but I think he is an awful keeper who makes an exceptional amount of errors. England don't really have any stand out goalkeepers although I've always been impressed with the lad at Southampton whenever I've seen him.
  11. Ha ha! No! Just seen the score. Predictable. Should start betting on Sunderland 1-1 every weekend.. That must have been 50% of their results in league one Apparently 31 of their last 56 games have ended 1-1.
  12. I used to take notice of their games but genuinely didn't know they were playing tonight. Just checked and seen they drew 1-1 with Fleetwood Town
  13. His time isn't limited though. He's simply following Ashley's remit of keeping us out of the bottom 3. As long as we are 17th or above he's in no real danger.
  14. A lot of players used to do that. David Kelly definitely did. Remember reading about it in one of the match programmes when he played for us.
  15. Tbf there hasn't been that many top jobs come up since he was sacked by Spurs. Barca seemed adamant they were going for Koeman and he was never going to Arsenal from Spurs.
  16. Really dislike the bloke. Didn't bother watching that but speaking to people who did and also seeing the comments on social media it sounds like it was a s bad as usual. If I was as emotionally invested in the football club as I used to be I would have walked along to the training ground by now to give him a load of shit at the gate! I remember i made it into the Chronicle for losing my shit with Carver a few years ago
  17. I respect the opinions, and the confidence, of those thinking it'll go through but my thoughts haven't changed since news of the takeover first broke which what feels like a lifetime away now and that there's not a hope in hells chance of it happening. I've come to terms with it and the Premier League is almost out of my life now. No longer have Sky or BT and I've watched 2 live games from that league all season (1 involving NUFC). Still watch football from other countries on my IPTV as it will always be my favourite sport but I'm happy I've been able to more or less wash my hands of the Professional game in England now. Once the Premier League push through this Big 6 project I'd like to think that 1000s more fans from around the country will end up doing the same.
  18. Such a talent! He could have had an incredible career here if only he'd been managed properly. I don't doubt he would have been hard to handle, but the best players usually are. Just unlucky for him that the 2 managers he had in England were Alan Pardew and Steve Bruce. We're already seeing the negative impact Bruce is having on ASM, the nearest type of player we currently have to HBA.
  19. I've noticed the Newcastle Consortium supporters group have had their twitter account suspended today.
  20. That’s not how rules and laws work. That's how it worked last time. They didn't have cause to reject it then but they did, like I said they would. Let's see how it plays out but I'm certainly not getting my hopes up. And they didn’t reject it. They stalled and stalled and that’s why they are heading to court They made it perfectly clear they were never going to accept it either. Hopefully the threat of exposing some serious corruption might force their hand, but even then I'm not sure it will.

  22. Hope people aren't getting their hopes built up to be left disappointed. Ultimately the Premier League don't want the PIF to take over NUFC, for reasons we are all now aware of and the facts are it's their league and they decide on the runners and the riders. That's why it never went through in the first place.
  23. Best of luck Greg. A successful, well coordinated Trust is in the best interests of every NUFC fan.
