  1. Fully deserved goal. We've offered nothing.
  2. Disgusting team selection and tactics from the useless fat coward.
  3. Bruce has blew his lines here. Ideal opportunity to go attacking and smash them with them being low on confidence and put himself in the frame for the Man Utd job next week and he picks that team.
  4. Merseyside Derby usually tends to be a bit boring and always seems to lack that bit of nastiness that you get in a proper Derby. Old Firm is usually more entertaining just for the pure hatred but because there's no fans there tomorrow that won't be there and that'll take everything away from the occasion as, let's face it, they're two shite teams. If fans had been allowed I'd have watched the Old Firm but I don't think the Merseyside Derby will miss the fans as much and the football on show will be of a far higher quality so I'll watch that.
  5. Benefitted massively from having the most unselfish player ever playing in the same team and supplying the bullets for him. Couldn't even manage a goal every other game after he left despite playing in arguably the best team in the world at the time.
  6. Surprised if he's said that but Beardsley has form for saying strange things from time to time. Shearer, Ferdinand, Lineker and Rush were all far better strikers than Andy Cole for starters.
  7. What a load of bullshit. Ferdinand and Shearer were far better players. Only an idiot would disagree.
  8. Could stand where he wanted really. Beardsley would always find him.
  9. Also used to miss time his jump when going up for a header about 3 seconds too early so he was already back on the ground when the ball arrived in the air to him. Used to be funny to watch though! Ferdinand & Shearer were of a similar height to him amd were both lethal in the air because they could time their jump properly.
  10. Scored 11 brilliant goals for NUFC and 57 tap ins courtesy of Beardsley. Ferdinand and Shearer who came in after he was sold were far superior players. He was a right huffy twat as well.
  11. A lot are happy to pay £10 for exactly that in a crap League Cup game. Aye but at least they're attending the match in person for their tenner. For a huge % of the fanbase the actual match itself isn't a huge priority and plays second fiddle to having a few pints, meeting mates or simply just getting out the house. He's talking about the Carabao streams this season. Did many people actually buy them? Aside from that around 35k people have already paid to watch this match in the form of buying a season ticket!

  13. If anyone is daft enough to pay £15 to watch 2 shite teams in an empty stadium with fake crowd noise then more fool them really.
  14. He's been playing football on the field not far from where I live this afternoon. For those of you who know Wallsend it was that field opposite St Bernadettes Church/Nobles newsagents. Seemingly he was driving past and seen a load of kids playing football, pulled over and joined in.
  15. What he lacks in talent he more than makes up in luck.
  16. They're only a point ahead of Morecambe, who we beat 7-0. Shouldn't even be contemplating a defeat to these.
  17. I literally don't know a single Newcastle fan (in real life not the internet) who enjoys watching Newcastle play.
  18. 3 white males in the studio there and 2 white males in the commentary box. Sky need to sort this out like.
  19. Some poetic justice there with Spurs allegedly being one of the two PL clubs to complain about our Saudi takeover.
  20. Can't be arsed to watch it but Livescore saying 0 shots on target today and none last week v Brighton either. Takes some doing that, playing all that football without testing the opposition goalkeeper
  21. Doubt it. Crowds were down to 42k last season.
  22. These are the sort of games I hate watching, Attack v Defence for 90 mins with one team just trying to keep the score down, so I'll probably not bother and end up watching a German, Spanish or Italian game instead.
