Definitely. There's around 5-6k who haven't renewed and they've had very little uptake from new ST holders so there's far more seats to fill on a match by match basis at hugely inflated prices. As a comparison I'm pretty sure Spurs at home last season didn't make general sale (if it did it was literally just a handful of tickets) and this season there's going to be 1000s available. Might not even sell out. Speaking personally I haven't renewed my ticket and I have no intention of paying £40+ which will be the general sale price, to watch individual matches, and I think the majority will have a similar mindset.

I got blocked on Twitter by Sports Direct on Friday. Thought it was a bit harsh as I didn't really say much but they must be a touch sensitive at the moment.

Looks like season ticket sales have taken a massive hit. Sold out for last season but for next season the stadium plan shows around 6,000 seats available to buy including loads in areas where there was a waiting list ie Family enclosure.

Feel really sorry for Rafa. He desperately wants the club to succeed and he clearly has a huge affinity to the area and the supporters but he knows he can never make a success of things here due to the owner. It's such a crying shame and a massive opportunity wasted. He'll see out his contract and get a big job next summer.

Agree. Loads of Non League and lower league clubs ask their fans to help with this us such as ground maintenance which is what Sunderland are and have done. It's quite funny because it shows what they've now turned into but the principle of it is fine.
