That's not their original club song though. It's was always "Let's all sing together"

He's contracted, and paid handsomely to play football for Newcastle United. Because of his refusal to play we had to play our last game without a recognised striker. Almost certainly meant we dropped 2 points. Dress it up any way you like, and it's clear that you're desperate to see a good side to this so fair enough, but those are the cold, hard facts. No doubt if he's still here after September 1st he'll be full of regrets because he'd be in limbo. He doesn't want to be here and the fans don't want him here.

It's all just a play on words. Fact is he's refusing to play for Newcastle United which is why we've had to play our opening game of the season without a centre forward. We've been told he's gone on strike. He's not playing. Nobody has contradicted that. You can't just believe the news you want to believe.

We've been told he's gone on strike and is refusing to play. He wasn't in the squad on Saturday. It's not a good look for him and he's come in for some stick of the fans and his team mates alike. I'm pretty sure that if this wasn't the case and he hadn't gone on strike, somebody from his camp would have come out by now and explained that this is not the case. If not them even someone from the club.

Don't think Howe will want him anywhere near the 1st team group. They're clearly a close knit bunch, which is our strength and he won't want him jeopardising that. He's done here now as a 1st team player. Too much water has passed under the bridge. Let him rot for a year and move him on next summer, abroad and on our terms.

Whilst I agree to a point, the PSG game was ballot and that was one of the best atmospheres the ground has ever witnessed. That was pretty much the exception though since the ballots came into effect however. One thing I do know is that if the place isn't absolutely rocking when you mix in all the ingredients, kick off time, opposition, Isak etc then we might as well just pack up abd go home.

A repeat of that 2019 game against them would be good. SJP was a proper bear pit that night. Probably the most hostile I've known it. Scousers getting booted all over in the Gallowgate End. Even Klopp commented about it afterwards asking if there was some history between the clubs that he was unaware of.

Went to AC v Atalanta back in April. Milans season was as good as over and they were absolutely rotten, Atalanta running out comfortable 1-0 winners but their Ultras never stopped. Was actually hoping they'd turn on their players in the 2nd half just to make it really interesting but they pretty much stuck with them. We were at Orlando City v Inter Miami a week past Sunday and even their atmosphere was better than what we produce at SJP which is pretty tragic in all honesty when we're lagging behind the MLS.

It's not just all about money. That's what's ruined the sport. Personally I'd rather play him in the U21s for a season and sell him to Barcelona as Lewandowskis replacement next year for £70m than sell him to Liverpool now for £120m. At some point clubs need to make a stand against these mercenaries and their agents. Rolling over and letting him get his move despite only being 3 years into a 6 year contract wouldn't do us any favours whatsoever as a football club amd makes us look a soft touch. We need to take the power away from the players and their agents and give it back to the clubs, not the other way around.

Aye think that's him. Used to be/might still be a driving instructor iirc. Came to my house a few times as I'd get the odd spare tickets for him that he'd get for people on his bus.

Think it's well past the bridge building stage now. Clearly his team mates have had enough of him now judging by the subtle digs they've been getting in about him in the last week, and I'm yet to speak to a Newcastle fan who ever wants to see him in the 1st team again. I had a walk along to Whitley Park yesterday to watch the U21s. That's the environment he should be playing his trade in this season. If it costs him a World Cup place then that's tough shit.

Other than cup finals I can't remember ever wanting us to win a game of football than I do this one. Get into these racist murdering cunts and make their lives hell. -
Didn't really learn anything we didn't already know today. Unless we bring in 2 centre forwards in the next fortnight to replace Wilson and that cunt we'll struggle to score 40 goals this season.
