  1. The crowd at their last home FA Cup game (v Mansfield in 2021) was 8,620.
  2. Milburn Stand now open for sale.
  3. The Fewm when they find out that he's not a MLF and is in fact a Durham Mag is just glorious
  4. He's going to try for his own seat again when they decide to open L7 up. Hopefully if we get through this round they'll just open the whole stadium up at the same time and it'll save him a headache. I was 5 when I went to my first home game, sat on my dads shoulders at the back of the paddocks in the early 80s. Took my son to his first game v Huddersfield in the Championship aged 3 and he never took his eyes off it. I thought that would be the case which is why I took him at a young age. He had everyone around us in stitches as we were walking out when he proclaimed in a pretty loud voice that "we'll get relegated again at this rate!".
  5. One of my mates has an autistic son. Literally everything he does is following a routine. He's fine at the match, in fact that's where he's most comfortable, but he has to go through the same turnstile every time, things like that. They got tickets for the Palace game but couldn't get their exact seats and had to wait for GS. They used the same turnstile but they were 1 row behind their usual seats and a few seats along. The bairn just couldn't settle and they had to leave before the end.
  6. They had to buy in the lower bowl or take a chance that L7 would open up but by the time that happened all tickets were on general sale so the chances of getting their own seat were slim. They don't open up L7 to anyone at all until the lower bowl is on the way to selling out.
  7. No they get first pick of lower bowl tickets after current lower bowl ST holders have had a window to take up their own seat.
  8. They have. Level 7 is a free for all like it was in the last round.
  9. The season ticket holders I know who are in Level 7 prefer the view up there. Think they should be allowed the choice of whether they buy there own seat or move to the lower bowl. I could understand if they were only expecting 30k but its going to be a sell out. It's probably the last think that Ashley implemented that's still ongoing. Before he arrived L7 was always opened up for Cup games regardless of the attendance. He closed it because he didn't see the cups as serious competitions.
  10. The last round sold out over 2 weeks before the fixture was played!
  11. Just released another 400 seats in the centre of the East Stand.
  12. Tickets were dirt cheap like. Cost us £7 for me, wor las and the bairn!
  13. We got our tickets as soon as they went on sale at the beginning of last month (East Stand right on halfway) and the Milburn Stand wasn't on sale then. Had a look at the hospitality and noticed it was only in the Directors Box and then seen the photos this week of the Platinum Club being refirbished so just assumed the Milburn was being left empty, excluding the Directors Box. Good if it is already sold out like. Takes away from the occassion a bit looking over at an empty Stand.
  14. Got tickets for this. Never been to a womens match before and with NUFC being a lower league team I'm not expecting much in terms of quality but it'll just be nice to be inside SJP again. We've got tickets in the East Stand. Assume the Milburn is closed for this one with the refurbishments going on. Would be fantastic if they could get 30k like.
  15. Still don't understand why they just can't open the whole stadium up from the start. This isn't Mike Ashleys NUFC anymore, this game is a guaranteed sell out.
  16. Profiteering from Saudi blood money the dirty hypocritical bastards.
  17. Lovely finish. They've played some nice football and really made a game of it when they could have sat back and used spoiling tactics.
  18. The lack of consistensy here is absolutely infuriating.
  19. He's a horrible bitter old bastard. Not sure how he still gets airtime.
  20. Remember years ago we played them down at their place (pretty sure it was the Dabizas 1-0 game). We'd been down there and got back into town and naturally stayed out celebrating all night. We came out of Ram Jams singing away and in good spirits and inexplicably there was a mackem stood outside. Not wearing colours obviously but he didn't take kindly to us still celebrating and a few words were exchanged. He took a swing at me which luckily I anticipated and managed to dodge and just as I was about to throw one back at him, one of the doorman who was obviously more skilled in the art of combat than I, got in first and put him straight on his arse with a massive haymaker! Turned round to us and said "go on get down the road we'll sort him out". They used to enjoy booting troublemakers down the alley separating Ram Jams from Steam back then so I assume that was his fate that night. To this day the only mackem I've ever encountered in the Bigg Market.
  21. My experience of Darlington, having worked there for several years, is that there's more Newcastle fans there than Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Darlington combined. Felt like a home from home in that regard!
  22. Just don't open nor contribute to the thread would be a better idea. Some of us still enjoy laughing at them and pointing out their hypocrisy.
  23. And another one jumps the fence to the black and white side!
