I worry, what affect Nolan's loss will have on the team morale but isn't it Pardew's job to look after the morale ? I realise, that players like Nolan help, as he is on the same level as the other players, having said that if our team spirit goes we will, imo be relegated unless we can get real quality particlularely in the goal scoring department. Nolan is a very limited player but he knows what he can and can't do, despite being limited in his skill movement and passing has an 82 % succesful pass ratio which incidentally is the same as Cabaye's i believe, though admittadly i would imagine Cabaye is much more ambitious with his passing.

Seems to work alright for Fergie. Fergie seems to have more flexibility. yes he lays down the law but he also offers a lot of encouragement.

And you know exactly what Dowie's contribution was how? I don't. Though i do remember someone saying something about a talk in with kevin nolan where nolan claimed that Dowie was one of his mistakes along with going in with pre conceived idea's. Add that to the fact that he is a terrible manager and i remember someone mentioning that Dowie used the 3-5-2 on occasion with other teams and that is where i formed my opinion.

If he, keeps Dowie well away, he stands a chance of doing a good job than he did with us.
