Any one else think this would make a good banner ? Ofcourse if you take away the true faith bit. Cracking banner...if you want to get the Guardianistas like Wor Louise chuntering on about how the Geordie Nation is populated by racists who are likening Hughton to Obama "just because he iz black, innit". Gd point.

And they call us hypocritical. On that thread they also criticise fans greeting players. What is wrong with that ?

Has the Reynolds Asprilla situation been sorted ?

Even if they were in the prem, they would have no chance of filling it,

Very good article,

Why would they be let through to the champions league when its unlikely they won't finish 4th, i doubt they would be let through just for winning the Europa league. Go back to 2004 or 2005 when they won it and finished 5th. Shouldn't have qualified then either but they did True and i agree they shouldn't have qualified that year but Sevilla won the europa league and they didn't qualify....did they ? And because oif that i don't think they would qualify simply because uefa wouldn't have a leg to stand on if that was the case. Atleat when they won the champs league no one had wo it and not qualified before, so they could change the rules a bit but because sevilla didn't (i think) they couldn't do this.

Unreasonable expectations, self-pity, anger at the villains who are running the club – that’s widespread among football fans everywhere. The only ones who I don’t understand are the Arsenal fans who criticise Wenger because he hasn’t won a trophy in five years. If I was watching great football in a great stadium with regular appearances in the Champions League, I wouldn’t be complaining. Well ok, i take your point about the football but the one about the stadium is wrong, imo, st james' is better than the emirates. ok it's smaller but our stadium has character therir's just looks like any other stadium built with in the last few years.

Aye, but at least we haven't murdered any opposition fans either. True but on the point about Sir Bobby it may sound hypocritical to have a go at their fans for that particular point Did you hear the boo's when he subbed Torres at Birmingham last week? Spolit, arrogant, conceited wankers who deserve to crack their skulls on evey rung of the ladder they're about to fall down. Boo's? Did you not see the reaction of their captain? True but from where they have been to where they are now is quite a distance i think most fans would have booed in that situation. So it's ok to boo your manager then? Not at all, but we have been guilty of it in the past and quite infamousely aswell and also o ther fans have aswell

Tbh, rafa has been far from class over the years he was good in the beginning but has taken them back over the time he's been there, whether it be baffling tactical decision (aswell as some great ones) buying bad players selling good players he imo has been poor. About your point about us being called delusional you have a point we are no more delusional than any other set of fans, imo. Ofcouse they expect to win something every season though.....the are the most succesful club in the country.

Was so disappointed with Anfield. Has never lived up to my expectations! I will be honest i realy didn't like anfield either, for a ground that was only 7,000 short of st james' it felt like a lot smaller plus when i went i felt the leg room was appaulingthoughthat may have been a bit to d with not feeling well off travel sickness.

I can understand why they do it what happend there was horrible and atleast from what i gather from the film it was a bit of a cover up by S Yorkshire police and also what the sun wrote about them aswell. Who ever brought up Heysel has a good point though, i was watching lfc tv and they were talking about a champs league game aainst Juve and the Liverpool fans made a gesture of apology which didn't go down to well with the juve fans and not surprisingly either ........it took them 20 years.
-
Tbf, when you have been as succesful as them and for aslong they have been, you can imagine they would be upset at how the season has went. I mean do you remember that season we finished 5th and Booed Sir Bobby and we have had no where near the success they have had.
-
I disagree, imo it will take a couple more years for citeh to make that extra step to be title contenders

Not a hate article but we don't have a media "we love newcastle thread" so i thought this would be the best place to put it.

I remember reading comments from either Harper or Given, a while back who claimed he was making brilliant progress and that he could be a very good keeper if he continued at the rate he was developing at. It seems that he is still progressing at that rate which i can only imagine means that he is very dedicated and also means that his progress could continue until he reaches the top, but i suppose it is quite hard to preidct this sort of thing. We have some very good young keepers at this club, Krul, Forster, Alnwick( i remember reading some where he also is a future England international, though i have no idea if this is true ), Soderberg ( i havent heard alot about him tbh )

joint testimonial to harper and shola......... sure they wouldnt mind donating the funds to the SBR foundation doesn't have to be that foundation but a similarly worthy cause. I just thought that we could have a friendly specificly with Ipswich because of Sir Bobby's connection with the club and it would alsomake sense if that money went to the foundation.

Leyton Orient(h), Stoke(a), Barcelona(a), Arsenal(H), Ipswich(h) (with money raised going to the Sir Bobby robson charity), Fenerbahce(a), Darlington(h).
-
Yes, but so should Harper.

Tbf, you have missed out the rest of the North east, the majority of which will be either Newcastle or Sunderland. But that is a good thing, they can't criticise us for having a large catchment area, what has that got to do with anything, some people say if they had the same catchment area they would get similar attendances. But they don't so its irrelevant.
