Champions League for me, the teams are far better and its a bigger stage. Not to mention the last time we were there we had some great moments and they were great moments mainly because we ghot to play against europes elite.

I voted for Colo, just because he has been so consistent and has played a lot of games but Enrique has been brilliant this season aswell. I hope Colo can perform at his best in the prem. Imo, he is deffinately good enough, the question is whether or not his style is suite to the epl, if he can be as good as what i am lead to believe he was in La Liga then he will be vital for staying in the Premiership.

Wish we'd had the leading all-time Premiership goalscorer play for us over 10 years and refused to wear a Newcastle top. I love that comment, sums up their jealousy perfectly, imo Read more: http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=481585#ixzz0iYhsf1ir

Look north took a toon top to Sunderland and could only find one person willing to put it on. The same crowd who did not eat sugar puffs after KK & Honey Monster won the cup. The same crowd who were not keen on us being sponsored by Northern Rock & even more so now. The same crowd that were not going to buy each other Donnay socks for Crimbo because Ashley is our owner. The same crowd that need to realise NORTHUMBRIA WATER have a box at St James park & should stop drinking there stuff ASAP.

You shouldn't, i remember watching this interview almost 2 years ago. He also claimed, he offered, C.ronaldo, Fabregas and Nani to Birmingham for 3.5 mil.

Or because of the fact that he got offered £5 million for somebody who he thought was past his best. And he was right. Let us also forget we wouldn't have been anywhere near where we finished under SBR if it wasn't for Shearer's goals. Or the goals he scored that probably kept us in the Premiership under him. The club started to fall apart after Shearer retired. Coincidence? I doubt it. I would say, the club fell apart just before that actually when Sir Bobby was sacked, or atleast started to.

Yes, but i can understand it, he is a huge figurehead our country. What i don't like is the non sport media coverage, where they get newscasters who don't realy have a clue about football or even sports. For example i have just been watching BBC news and they had a former West Ham physio one of the questions the newscaster asked him was "What will be the legacy of this injury". I mean seriousely if they are going to cover the story they need to know what they are talking about.

Are you serious ? Don't get me wrong, Shearer is of course a legend but he is a shite pundit all he does is state the obvious, however hi isn't a wanker which does give him brownie points, unlike Andy Gray who is a wanker and loves the big 4. I agree, with those that say Desaily is a good pundit, imo, he is likeable and gives good analysis. He is possibly the best one one telly. I would also like to put forward Bob Moncur, ofcourse he is likeable because of what he has done for our club and he gives good analysis.

Last time it was brilliant, everyone had music blasting out their houses, bbq's, gazeebo's and i love how everyone hangs their England flags out the window. Though this yaer l i''ll be watchin the usa game in zante which should also be brilliant. :celb: :celb:

Crouch has to go to South Africa imo.

Agreed, the last few games at Old traffprd shouldn't have been played there either.

F*** OFF, I NEED THEM TO WIN; YOU HEAR ME? WIN! If you guys loose to Egypt how are ye going to beat Algeria in the WC? This is different, this is a friendly, imo they should never be taken too seriousely. Though they always are.

To be fair, N'zogbia made far too much of what was imo an obvious mistake. He wanted away well before that happend and that was the best excuse he could come up with unless ofcourse he realy was offended in which case he is too sensitve. That being said Kinnear was shit and i'm not sure he told us the truth about alot of things.

http://www.nufcblog.org/ One thing that has struck me about being relegated to the Championship is just how different the attendances are. I’m not talking about our home attendances, I don’t need to, as the average of nearly 43,000 speaks for itself and should improve as we get closer to the end of the season. Here, I’m more looking at away games and the effect Newcastle United could be having on the Championship. We’ve seen the Toon Army takeover entire stands and more at away grounds this season. Cast your memories back to Barnsley where we had 7,000 away fans at Oakwell that day. You could say it is great business sense from the opposing teams chairmen, if they have spare seats then why not make sure they are sold and increase revenue for the club? Of course we haven’t had it our own way at away grounds at all times. Sometimes we only get the bog standard away allocation which, of course, is the home clubs right. If they are able to sell these empty seats to their own fans then that has to be the priority but there are also a few teams that have a strong following themselves and so are unable to give us any more tickets such as Derby and Sheffield United. We also hear the ‘Newcastle are a big club for this league’ statement on quite a regular basis, Watford’s Danny Graham being the latest to trot out that particular line, but this also resonates with the fans as they come to see if their team can topple the league leaders which, to their credit, has been done on several occasions this season. If you have read down this far you’ll probably be thinking that this is a load of unsubstantiated nonsense and that I’m being very biased and have my black & white tinted glasses on, and that is true to a point. I obviously wouldn’t be writing this for a West Brom or Nottingham Forest or any other club for that matter. The fact is I have been crunching the numbers and in a ‘toonsy first’ it appears that the figures back me up. Below are details of all the away league games we have played so far including the attendance against us, the clubs average attendance and the percentage change. Room for improvement?... As I said, the numbers actually stack up this time and you can see that quite a lot of teams have had over a 20% increase in attendance when the Toon come to town, more in some cases. Which leads me onto my point nicely. Have Newcastle United been good for the Championship? You have to say the answer is yes. From the away games I have gone to this season I’d put an average price on a ticket being £25 and we’ll use our most recent game against Watford as an example. You can see the attendance was boosted by near enough 3,000 for yesterday’s match which works out at around £75,000. Then on top that you have increased revenue inside the stadium, programs etc which all mounts up and means Watford are potentially £100,000 richer for yesterday’s game. Now I’ll agree £100,000 is hardly a fortune, but it will pay for a loan player for a few weeks or cover some wages or just pay a healthy bonus for someone. In this economic climate that is having such a dramatic effect on football finances, and with situations at teams like Portsmouth, Chester City, Crystal Palace among many others sitting fresh in the memory, surely any extra cash for any club is a godsend and is greatly appreciated. In summary, I’m happy other teams are raking it in off the back of us as long as they oblige by not beating us!

I disliked him ever since he told sky sports our fans expected champons league last season....the twat
