I don't really think it's fair to blame the supporting cast for his 11 goal season, he was still getting/creating chances then, his finishing was just nowhere near what it is now. Either way, Liverpool have already showed they can play without him this season, as long as they have Sturridge and Coutinho fit I don't see a major collapse.

The Premier League gets talked up far too much tbh. You're probably looking at half the league that some folk would describe as not good enough for it. Like this in pretty much every other league though, it's just the nature of it.

No they don't, they have a few expensive signings mixed in with some pretty average players. Their squad is nowhere near ours in terms of quality. He didn't compare their squad to ours. Southampton are doing with important injuries and coming through a very tough run of games. It's not surprising they don't look as good as the opening few months, they still have more quality than more than half the league.
