Will be interesting how he does when looked upon as the main striker (assuming). I think he can get in double digits quite easily in the Championship, his general play has improved quite a lot since we were down there.

I don't think the tournament has been help by the line up of the QFs, 4 easily predictable winners (lets face it taking off our England tinted specs, no one outside our borders gives us much of a chance). The semi should be a lot better and closer games, although seeing past a Spain Germany repeat final is extremely hard. Hmm, really don't agree with that. Think most will be looking at it as almost a 50/50 game with Italy as slight favourites. I honestly see England as slight favorites, Italy have looked solid this tournament, but I just see the Hodgson/England connection as a perfect combination.

Blanc pretty much said he would be doing this, disappointing.

Wouldn't think so, it's hard to imagine a team with individual talent going forward like they have sitting back.

I would say his first game was decent at the very least, didn't see all of the second, but considering he's only played in two games decent at worse is pretty good.
