I highly doubt we'll rush him back, if he's ready and recovered he'll play.

Decent shout. Injuries a worry though... I can't see anyone going in for him after a year out, but he's recovered well from injuries in the past. Just really want him to play in the highest level for the next few seasons leading into the WC.

If we want to be a club fighting for Europe every year, we're going to have to get used to our players playing internationally. If his form keeps up through these never seven games, then I would love to see him go, he would deserve it.

He's so much better in a three man midfield, those three really compliment each other well. I'd like to see him sign a new contract, but I won't be too disappointed if he leaves. Very serviceable backup to have though.

They hold the ball extremely well, counter would be perfect here, and obviously we have the players to hurt them.

Great to see how willing he is to get back and defend, at one point after a failed attacking move Cabaye was way up the pitch, and Cisse just waved him off and went to take his position for a bit.

Providing that's what you're into.

The centerbacks were pretty consistent in their man marking, it was almost always Williamson on Carroll and Perch on Suarez. Wasn't sure he was going to be able to handle him, but he was more than capable, Suarez was almost invisible at points. Great performance.

So much of my cynicism towards football over the past season and a half has been created by Liverpool. To beat them like this is just the apex (hyperbole) for me this season. To see Ben Arfa wreck Enrique, Carroll and Suarez completely neutered by fucking Williamson and Perch, that's just beyond belief. Excellent, excellent game.
