  1. when we went down we said we deserved it cos you finish where you deserve, we didn't say we under achieved. if we finish 5th or higher surely we'd be lying if we said we over achieved ?. Finishing where we deserve and under/overachieving aren't exactly mutually exclusive. We deserved relegation because we underachieved.
  2. Bilbao/Man Utd should be entertaining. Ready for that.
  3. If it came to the point of us having Colo, Saylor and Vertonghen, Saylor will fit in quite nicely as our third centerback.
  4. If they've failed to get Curbishley twice, then yes, they definitely should've stuck with him. That shortlist of managers was horrendous enough, can't imagine what it looks like after getting turned down.
  5. Took me a second (10 to be exact) as I had no clue what "tossing off" meant.
  6. Zoua was really impressive for Basel.
  7. Awful defending, but nice pass and run.
  8. That film is quality. One of those that are so shitty it's amazing.
  9. I am fully on the Basel Champions League bandwagon.
  10. Been a great match like. Aye, great start.
  11. Jesus Christ, post again Basel could have three.
  12. Basel should have one, can't believe that didn't go in.
  13. The guy said it's a Ligue 2 player, anyway. Edit: Nvm, reading wiki.
  14. Brought to you by the same company who uncovered Zircon.
  15. I've only been half watching, but is Toure playing off of Aguero?
  16. His main problem is lack of adjustment on his part. It was clear early on that his high line wasn't going to work with this squad, now its February and he still hasn't found the right system. He also should've made a few more additions in the summer, it was always necessary for his project. Regardless, like others have said it's either AVB or some 30-year olds who are clearly not good enough anymore, the decision is already made.
  17. Regardless of what else they are, or stand for? I don't. It's not simply that he's lacking loyalty or respect to that club, it's what his behavior says about football as a whole. I don't want it legitimized at all. I have no clue, nor do I care what Tevez stands for, he's a footballer and that's about all I care about. Very few have any relevance to me outside of what they do on the pitch. If City want to let him come back, that's up to them, just glad I can watch him again.
