Darke and Mcmanaman always seem to call him out when they do a Liverpool game. Can't believe anyone can defend him.

He did that against us last season on a pretty conventional foul too. Still a sexy motherfucker.

Doesn't really seem to know how to finish. Other than that, he's good.

Darke and Macmanamanman don't seem to think so, but I thought it was a pretty entertaining half. Some decent chances from both sides.

Dempsey

Nice and open so far.

Both defenses look like they don't give shit. Not even paying attention to anyone but the ball.

Skrtel was really poor there, Ruiz telegraphed it completely too.

No one watching Dembele at all. Should have scored.

Carroll starts where he left off.

Llambias had already said we'll need "replacements" next summer. Anyone that's surprised by this is not paying attention.

I didn't watch it all, but at several points in the first half neither side were anywhere near organised. No shape whatsoever, it was a right old mess. The first half was particularly terrible. Can't believe that game ended up being entertaining.

Well, that takes some sting out of the weekend.
