This would be a lot easier if Guthrie weren't so shit on the right. He's so similar to Barton style-wise it would make the transition much smoother going into the next three games.
There's really no other option than what Chris did. Bring on a quicker, more explosive player up top. He did that, it worked for a bit, but the defense was still shit.
Glad he made the sub at half, would've been really hard to start Ranger for Ameobi even if it wasn't the best decision tactically. It's just too bad Ranger hasn't developed yet.
Probably just more focused and been working tactically all week in training. Coming in against these times there's probably not as much of a set plan on defense. Seems like it at least, everyone just looks a bit confused.
That first goal really ruins everything. Blackburn were just going to sit back all day and we could at worst expect a draw. Now looking at a loss. Fuck this is annoying.
