I was going to say your statement doesn't really make sense because Korea had it in 2002.
  2. Aye, what am I thinking? I mean it didn't work at Euro 2004, or WC 2006, or WC 2010. Oh and they didn't even get to Euro 2008. But maybe, just maybe, it might magically work at Euro 2012 Lampard and Rooney didn't work at Euro 2004? News to me. Easily 2 of the best platers in the tournament. Agreed. They were delicious.
  3. No. Not sure if he will be. Kind of disappointing, but I guess it doesn't really matter because a cap here wouldn't officially declare him for the US. This was always going to be 0-0, both teams are pretty awful up front. Ian Darke saying Mix chipped Guzan really nice in training last night.
  4. You must've not gotten invited to the Gareth Bale party a few weeks ago.
  5. Carroll shouldn't have let that happen.
  6. Putting this the nicest way I possibly can, Robbie Findley sucks balls.
  7. These pregame player speeches are so fucking awkward.
  8. I've been looking forward to his first cap for a while, I'm really excited to see him play for the US.
  9. USA about to start in South Africa. I think we've played something like 11 games in SA since 2007, two friendlies and a handful each from the Confed and World Cups. Could Mikkel Diskerud's first cap.
  10. Agreed i don't understand why we have to break up the season it is just annoying and atleast if players got injured they would have the summer to regain fitness. They don't even make sense. It's not like national teams are gaining anything from playing one meaningless game in the middle of a clustered club schedule.
  11. If this weren't potentially his first cap he would've been pulled out of the squad a while ago. Not to mention how short England are on strikers.

With the Warner/Blatter/Platini axis of hate towards England along with FIFA probably being tentative about two largely English speaking countries hosting it in a row, I wouldn't be surprised if England somehow manage to fail to get this.
