Dude, he's 20-years old. Well aware of his age, doesn't make my point any less valid. He's pace and strength, with erratic form, poor technique and no composure. Yes, those are part of the game that come with age, but good players have usually developed at least some technique and composure by the age of 20 (certainly the better ones). Would be interesting to see what Drogba's technique and composure were like aged 20. Aye, but we weren't asking amongst ourself if we'd be taking Drogba on loan for a season. Why should we develop someone elses 20 year old for a season when we have Nile Ranger (basically similar vein to Alitdore) already on the books? Hell, we've got Ryan Donaldson and Andy Carroll too. Those are quality I wonder if this tournament will be a turning point for football over there. America doing well will do more than Beckham ever did. Isn't the World Cup great? Turning point? That came back in 1990. We've got a long, loooong way to go still. No other feeling like it. The 'USA USA USA' chant is fucking annoying, though. Sing a song, you boring bastards. Every video I watched has that, as did my bar. I think it's just too spur of the moment for us to sing, nor do I think many people actually know what our songs are.

What did you do when you found out it was 1-0? Mass silence. Everyone just sat in their seats, no tables were almost knocked down. Miserable.

What a ridiculous moment! Was at my local Buffalo Wild Wings, fucking tense all game. We go on that last attack, huge storm coming into the area, I think to myself, if we score it'll be here, then the feed goes out. The satellite went down. For a a few seconds we were all stuck in limbo, a guy pulls it up on his phone, says "It's 1-1" Mass chaos. Everyone jumping around, I almost knocked down like three tables, just absolute insanity. So fucking happy.
