    St James' Park

They're all drinking in their seats in the ground too.
  2. I'd love to see this guy get the job. Based on absolutely nothing I think he'll turn out to be class.
  3. Why risk having a relegation on his cv? Utterly pathetic comment How's it a pathetic comment? McClaren didn't want the job when the club had hit the rocks. Hardly a ringing endorsement if we are in a relegation battle with him at the helm next season. He's shit and a bottler, it would have took balls to take us with 3 games left, and he didn't have the courage to take on the challenge. It's not a pathetic comment, but neither is McClaren a bottler. If we're in a relegation scrap next may it'll be McClarens fault but this season was entirely somebody else's fault, you can't criticise a bloke for not jumping onto a sinking ship! The only time you'll ever get a sane manager to do that I'd by throwing money at him, and you know how our owner feels about throwing money around.
  4. He'd he taking a pay cut too mind. Quitting Man City's U15s to take our managers job.
  5. I'd take Vieira and his lack of experience over Carver and his lack of talent, any day of the week. But it's just too far fetched.
  6. If Vieras our next manager I'll drink my own piss.
  7. Personally I'd go for Klopp. But if I were in charge the club would be allowed to spend it's own money, thus avoiding the need to play Janmaat at CB and the nailed on relegation battle that comes with that lack of investment. The same lack of investment that'll hinder us in hiring a coach who isn't a complete fucking mong.

    John Carver

I reckon the club will leak a rumour every couple of weeks over the summer. Maybe even go through the charade of interviewing a candidate or two. But when the new season starts Carver will be in charge.

    Ryan Taylor

I wasn't trying to argue his case at all. I just thought the club would view him as a guy who could back up several positions, so in the club's eyes would be worth keeping hold of.

    Ryan Taylor

I'd say nobody at the club has a clue how next seasons squad will look. So to see Ryan Taylor who can play multiple positions released, have to say I'm shocked at that.
  11. Everybody in the world wants Blatter gone, apart from himself and halfway dozen of his pals. In any other business he'd be long gone. Yet there he still is, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's still in ccharge to present the next World cup in Moscow.
  12. How the fuck can you arrest half the FIFA top brass and NOT Blatter? Forget about the bribes, half the stuff he says is criminal. I'm actually starting to like the guy though. Not so much in a i'll give him a bell, see if he fancys a pint kind of way. More a how the fuck did he pull that off, again? What a man he is.
  13. Was about to post pretty much the same thing. Having binned Ben Area, Marveaux, Yanga Mbiwa, Santon, it would be just like us to hire a coach who can work with talent.

    St James' Park

Apparently St Marys is the only top flight pitch not to have any camber at all. Or at least it was a few years back when I was told that nugget. The camber at sjp is nothing unusual but the slope certainly is.
  15. I wasn't bothered about us being in the premier league next year. Boro or Norwich means less than fuck all. Quite fancy another penalty shoot out tbh.
  16. I had to laugh when he mentioned "the football board". Anyone who isn't a total retard knows that there's only one man on this board, and it's Mike Ashley. I think even the press have figured it out.
  17. I've just watched his post match interview, jesus what an arrogant prick he is.
  18. My prediction is that we'll spend upwards of £20mil. The press will be telling everyone that Ashley's put his money where his mouth is, but the money spent will actually be less than what we receive for outgoing players.
  19. He's gonna continue with his policy of investing.
  20. I honestly think Hull will beat Man United, so that's us down.
  21. I crease every time they show him crack that "here's my taxi" gag. I loved Frank McAvennie when I was a kid, my favourite snooker player at the the time was Kirk Stevens, dunno what that says about me? Apart from them showing the same clips over and over Football Mavericks has been class. Ooh I watched Class of '92 last night for the first time. Pretty good too.
  22. I'll be watching on TV but I can safely say that regardless of the outcome it'll be the last game I watch. Last year I didn't want the new season to start, this year I don't have to worry about it. :?
  23. If we stay up I cannot believe that Ashley would be stupid enough to keep Carver on, it would be suicidal. So it'll probably happen.
