  1. Ssn starting off with us now. Not much said but just reiterrating Bruce should be gone by Sunday and Jones in charge.
  2. How is the quality of Castore by the way? Same or better than Puma? Design wise, they can get better of course, hopefully with input from the new owners or even fans. So yes they can remain in place. But, I'd imagine big names like adidas, Nike, and heck even Puma again might want to be associated with us. The Castore deal would be peanuts to buy out and end. Shirt sponsors will definitely be Saudi related. That Manc Prof.Chadwick said the rumoured new Saudi airline or new sports broadcasting company they were planning to start might be what the Saudis want to display on our shirts. Even Vision 2030 or something like that Neom City is possible. I'm glad the owership is not 100% Saudi. If not, could have imagined some weird and awful looking sponsors. Having PCP and the Reubens 'might' help to persuade them to have less or a balanced appearance on shirts and advertisements.
  3. 999 games and he's won fuck all. And he was fuckin managed by Sir Alex. Hardly learned a thing the fat fucking mess.
  4. No way man. He'll absolutely be at the taining ground. He'll know the Sky cameras are there while he takes out his stuff from office. He'll then drive out and stop by the reporters, take questions, making it all about himself. I bet he'd even pay Sky a bit from his new payoff to have an exclusice sit down interview someday down the line to talk about himself. Steve, i know you're reading this or your son is. You're a prick as stupid as a brick. I hate you more than I hate Pardew. Sayonara suckaaaaaaa!!!!

    Plane spotting

Rest in Peace this thread. Or are we going to use it for Ben Arfa style sightings now?
  6. Fucking hope he doesnt get to spend a penny of that money he'll get.
  7. Long term maybe no. But he's exactly the person we would have needed to help lay the foundations of getting the basics right again. The team, the squad, the stadium, the training facility. He had it all planned out and I won't be surprised if anything we do from here on in had some Rafa influence in some way. I'll be honest. I'd rather Amanda ask Rafa on who should replace Bruce rather than ask Shearer. Shearer would probably say keep Bruce or if we need to replace, get Souness or even someone daft like Ian Dowie or something.
  8. I really can't imagine us appointing someone just to make the team stable again and then appoint another manager to start looking further forward. That's just wrong. This first appointment will have to work with the like of Krafth or Henddrick or the Longstaffs. But he'd also have the oppotunity to add to that in January and then summer. A manager like Conte can lift and get the best of players mentioned and then we'll build from there.
  9. How strong are Roma backing Jose? i know, some might not like him but I looked at those being linked who are in a job that might jump ship here for a bigger project with all the funding needed.
  10. There is no more Big 6. Spurs and Arsenal can both fuck off if they think they're guaranteed Chanpions League football. Come on West Ham and Leicester!!!! And us of course.
  11. Having Jones in the dugout is better than having Bruce there against Spurs. Such negatives vibes from him and he'll make it all about him. 1000th game, he wants the job, the chance to continue doing it, fuck he'll come up with all excuses and cliche before and after the match about how it was difficult under Ashley, totally forgetting he had been kissing Ashley's arse for as long as he's been here. As for who replaces him, I know the majority feel we should not or cant get big names like Conte right now and we should probably look at people like Potter. I'll use him as an example. Sure, he will probably keep us safe with good football and good players/additions to the squad. But, my worry is, what would it take for us to decide when we should move on to a bigger name? Potter struggling after spending money? What if he does well? Of course we'd probably extend his contract, keep giving him the tools and funds to grow the team if he is doing a great job. But we can't expect to hire Potter or etc, and then when we're stable and want to move further ahead, just sack him, unless of couse he is doing terribly? but then the man coming in to replace him would have to clean up the mess and start rebuilding again. Just my opinion but if we can attract any big names who are ready for a long term project, including to challenge at the top and in cups in the future, bring him in now. If that guy is someone like Potter, then so be it but let him stay even after he has stablised the team, not just use him as a stop gap. Anyways, #fuckoffBruce.
  12. Boils my piss the BBC have a lead story that the other 19 PL clubs are complaining about us but, the day after the CAT hearing took place, the piece on it was nowhere to be seen on their website unless you went to our specific club page. These 19 clubs sound like jeleous cunts more than anything. Happy that Mike Ashley took us for a ride for 14 years but now complaining about our new ambitious owners.

I'm actually reading up and watching videos of what they want that new city Neom to be like. Building a city from scratch in the desert ffs. I heard about it back in 2020 but someone brought it up earlier and even the other day, that Manc Prof.Chadwick also mentioned it on SSN, this Neom city is actually a breathtaking project. A rebuilding/expanding a stadium in a limited space/area project would be like building a spanking new bathroom for one of MBS' milkman for them. It'd be piss easy work for their engineers/architects/contractors with all the money, science and technology available to them. Really can't wait to know their plans

Fuck me. Is that another new interview with Amanda?

You'd be surprised how science and engineering can work these days. Forget brown envelopes. Thoe are things of the past.
  16. This was always going to happen so suddenly. I think, even Ashley once said it himslef right?
  17. The only bad thing coming out of this takeover happening in this international break is the journos have plenty of columns and space to fill in their papers. So this anti-Saudi theme is publishrd left, right and center. I guess it will slowdown once England play tonight or even once the PL games start again. Maybe it won't go away either but I'm not paying attention and also those forums of other ckubs like RAWK can go to fuck too.
  18. Ironic isn't it? The year we got relegated under Rafa. Final game of the season at SJP it was againat Spurs and, despite relegation, SJP was loud and noisy. Fans sang the Rafa songs and pleaded for him stay with 'We want you to stay, we want you to stay, Rafa Benitez, we want you to stay'. It was incredible. Now, we have new owners, after 14 years under Mike Ashley. We have Spurs again and ITS LLLIIVEEE on Sky! SJP will be noisy, loud and bouncing. We might get beat again like we have been in the past but I bet you, the fans would still be in party mood. Then you have Steve Bruce. Should he still be here at that time, does he think fans will serenade and congratulate him for his 1000th game? He'll get mocked, booed, abused everytime he is in the technical area let alone if he touches the ball when out of play. Fair enough, it might look bad on Newcastle fans jeering him but what does he expect for being pathetic at his job and being an absolute gobshite? If he' s still here then, he better be prepared for 90 minutes of absolute hell and backlash from the crowd. Sure, the fans will sing him the same tune as they did for Rafa but the words will be different " We want you to fuck off, we want you to fuck off, you sad mackem bastard, we want you to fuck off".

    St James' Park

Exactly. Here we are, on a football forum, giving ideas on how we can increase SJP's capacity in its current location or even moving when we have owners who literally pay people to think the best for them and make it happen. Fucking goosebumps man. Ever since I was a kid, I loved to dream and imagine how great SJP can look and be. Ashley took that enthusiasm away from me to the point that I once celebrated that we installed new dugouts during the Pardew years ffs. There was nothing to get excited about SJP during Ashley's reign. And now, not only do we have cash rich owners, we have owners who are into buildings and construction and real estate. Imagine if we had skint owners who just tookover from Ashley with no ambition for SJP. It would have crushed dreams.

Like I mentioned a few pages back. Do not forget. We are owned by a very rich owners who I'm sure have been involved in construction of bigger buildings than SJP. All they need to do is splash some cash to hire the best engineers, architects, construction companies, lawyers and etc that money can buy and I'm sure they'll be able to keep SJP in its same location. It'd be an engineering marvel, deserving to be documented on the Nat Geo channel. I'm pretty sure the owners do not want the stadium outside of the city and know its importance of staying where it is now.

    St James' Park

That is what i was imagining. They have all the money and they can help the council make some money of their own with investments that can help the create jobs and etc. The Town Moor is there with its status but I can imagine our new owners would know that already and would have drawn up plans on where and how they plan to setup the club better. No doubt that Man City concept is what they'll try replicate.
  22. This would have been so easy if Rafa was still available.

    St James' Park

Well. We all can dream now right? I feel like when i was 10 years old now when we were at the top with Keegan's Entertainers, dreaming about players ,stadium, kits and the club back then. Here's what I dream of. We have the richest owners in the world who want to make their mark and show the world what they're capable of. So what better way than to show what they can do with SJP. 1. Help build up and expand Gateshead International and turn it into a 30000 capacity. Can either be permanent or temporary. It has to be up to PL and UEFA standards of course. Eventually, the stadium can be used for other events/clubs/community at the same or reduced capacity. 2. Once that is complete, we move in temporarily. 3. Knock down SJP. Hire the best architects, engineers, constructors, lawyers, whatever to rebuild/reposition SJP on the same site. 80,000 capacity minimum if we plan to use it for other events too. A season or a maximum of two away while we're at Gateshead. 4. Once done, we come back. Yes, most likely the stadium might be renamed. That is likely going to happen one day anyways regardless of anything happening to the stadium itself. But atleast it remains in the same place. 5. Gateshead International can still continue to be used for other events and Gateshead and the community will benefit from iy. Of course, like I said at the top, this is my dream only. But with owners who have all the money in the world, anything is possible. Plus, I'm sure Amanda and the Reubens know how vital that SJP remains at the center of the city. The heartbeat if you will and they have the backing to ensure it stays there and remains unique. Look at all the buildings that these Middle Eastern countries are racing to get built to show their dominance and wealth. SJP can become one prime example in the near future for the Saudis.
