While annoying, if Chelsea payed more than what we valued him at, than the club did the right thing in not overextending the budget. Besides, I didn't really want a player that tries to take another professionals head off with his elbow.

That's the perfect summation of McClaren, I remember sticking up for him a fair bit, as he seemed a decent bloke, and you could see what he was trying to implement, he was just incredibly poor at doing that, and ultimately he was just out of his depth. I also think towards the end you could visibly see the stress on his face, that it made me feel a little sorry for him. Personally I don't include him at the same level as Bruce, Pardew and Carver, McClaren was a bit of a wet fart, where as the other three where full blown Nora virus, they all seemed vindictive and like they purposely chose to fight with the fans and showed them 0 respect, you didn't get that with Schteevve.
