Maguire knew just as little about it as the Copenhagen defender. They were both ridiculous, as was the one given against Eriksen when we played Bayern.

@brummie's post is actually spot on like. The weirdest diving style ever. The signing made perfect sense at the time financially and stylistically for what Ten Hag wants to do, but he's turned out to be bog standard at best. He's not fit to lace De Gea' s boots.
-
Onana can't dive mind which is a fairly big flaw for a goalkeeper.
-
It'll hopefully make a lot more sense when we have our first team available and we can play out from the back as planned. Maguire was fifth choice centre back last season and Evans shouldn't even have a contract.
-
Exactly. I was responding to two people who said "our second team beat Man United." It wasn't me implying anything

I don't know why you lot get so hurt by me saying we played reserves. When our team is fully fit three of the players start at a push and one is the goalkeeper. Antony and Casemiro are the others and the latter was injured. We had worse injuries coming into that game than you as well. You also humped us and deservedly so. All of the above statements are true and that's OK. I don't know what the problem is. Also on your last point. A matter of months ago we finished third and won our first trophy in 6 years easily beating Newcastle despite playing (and beating) Barcelona either side of it while having a lot of injuries. I was plenty proud. Don't make the mistake of thinking the faith is gone after a bad start to a new season. The vast majority of criticism comes from opposition fans desperate for us to fail.
-
We won't play our reserves against Bayern like we did against you though.

Attacker in offside position interfering with Onana's line of sight. It was offside. Not that Onana would have saved it if it wasn't, the big useless shite.

Think the worst decision of the night was Hojlund being deliberately forearmed in the face by a defender who was already on a yellow. He ended up scoring the equaliser. A horrific display of refereeing. I'm including our pen in that too. Never in a million years was that handball but he had to give it after giving the previous one against us. Beating Bayern to qualify will be nice at least...

So this is what being on the end of corruption feels like.
-
In a lot of games. We've had 6 or 7 bad ones go against us this season.
-
Rashford might be shit, but he isn't dirty at all. It wasn't even overly high. A complete accident with no intent. It's a shocking decision.
-
VAR is certainly doing it's best.
-
Refs really trying to make up for the Fergie years this season.
-
I think Havertz and Bruno G should have both been sent off in your game. No clear way of telling if the ball was out of play. If we're going to use VAR every ground should really have cameras on the byline.
-
I understand that, but Muniz wasn't marking Garnacho. It's just a very thin line of what constitues interfering with play. You look at this decision and then look at the Akanji one and I think the latter is far more clear cut, yet it was given.
-
I'm still not sure on our disallowed goal. Yes Maguire is offside, but Muniz is marking him and not Garnacho. Maguire doesn't impact the phase of play which led to the goal. If Muniz was marking Garnacho and Maguire impeded him then sure, but Muniz wasn't getting anywhere near Garnacho. Find it quite a tricky one as almost every phase of play will have someone being man-marked by an opponent. Don't know how Havertz wasn't sent off either and how there isn't more talk about it. He lunged at him. Clear dangerous play.
-
Looks like it. That's 5 shockers against us so far this season, usually at 0-0 when we've been in the ascendancy. VAR has killed the game. Refs are too inconsistent.
-
We signed the wrong Ajax winger.

Sheer football 'eritage.
