  1. Fernandes would walk into your side with one of his legs removed.
  2. Whether I agree with this or not, you've already named three players. That's what makes it such a stupid statement.
  3. Worst thing is Rashford starting. He'll be on the right. Massively ineffective.
  4. But I don't agree with this. Hojlund isn't fully fit though so maybe best to bring him on rather than start him.
  5. Friendly reminder Martial had a better goals and assists per 90 ratio than Isak last season.
  6. Unlikely if he tries to go past AWB 1 on 1. He can stretch him though. AWB's positioning is suspect at times which is what leads to him making these amazing tackles everyone praises him for.
  7. Wan-Bissaka will probably be because he's our best right back.
  8. He of course never said anything of the sort. he backed Onana publicly the same way he backed Maguire publicly.
  9. Antony is average. Rashford is slightly above average but playing at his absolute worst. Antony will run all day though and try his best to track back, whereas Rashford is stroppy and lazy. Against Newcastle, Antony is the better option. Rashford should come on for Garnacho against tired legs late on. He will start Rashford though.
  10. I think he's just happy chilling out to be honest. He made £375k a week at us for years and he's big into eSports and founded his own team a few years back. Could see him retiring.
  11. We are incredibly wasteful. Not necessarily with shots on goal, but from very promising positions if it's not Bruno Fernandes on the ball the decisions made are almost always the wrong one.
  12. I would say he deserves to start aye but Casemiro is still miles better than him. The starting midfield will be Mainoo and McTominay though until mid-January at the earliest. Garnacho's issue is that he plays the same position as Rashford. Garnacho is better, but EtH just refuses to drop Rashford.
  13. We would finish third barring a miracle as the tiebreakers would come down to goals scored in the group.
  14. He's supposed to be very good, but he didn't even get minutes in the league cup.
  15. Every player that comes to us just becomes the worst version of themselves, Bruno Fernandes aside. Obviously Onana isn't this bad of a keeper, but most of us on here would have saved that second free kick. He is really costing us this season and has been responsible for so many dropped points. This group would be done and dusted with any sort of competent keeper. He has been relatively decent since the penalty save against Copenhagen, but he's cost us another game last night. EtH should be considering dropping him.
  16. All joking aside we needed to move on from De Gea. He wasn't without his errors and was on a monster contract. While Onana's ability to play out from the back is massively overstated, De Gea's ability to play out from the back was non-existent and he frequently just booted it into row Z. De Gea was capable of making saves though so there is that.
  17. Who else? Pellistri has proven he's not ready. Rashford is shite on the left and worse again on the right. The only player we can put there who will do a job is Bruno Fernandes and then we suffer elsewhere on the pitch. Antony has his moments. He's an average winger at best but his pace can at least stretch teams and help give Fernandes space who has the ability to cut teams apart. I'd much rather it was Burn he was up against than Livramento though.
  18. We have quality in attack to cause any team in the world problems, but we're a shambles at the back under any sort of pressure, and you will bring pressure. As always, shut down Bruno Fernandes and you will keep us quiet at one end. You'll have no issues at the other. 3-1.
  19. Expected: Onana Wan Bissaka Maguire Lindelof Shaw Mainoo McTominay Garnacho Fernandes Rashford Hojlund What we're hoping for: De Gea Wan Bissaka Maguire Varane Shaw Mainoo McTominay Garnacho Fernandes Antony Hojlund
