5 wins in 6 for Solskjaer. The Bournemouth result is incredibly frustrating.

Not really is it? He was an absolute cock there tbh. Typical Yorkie handling it like a champ.

We allowed google?

Now that's going to be a fun game.

Probably all Dave and KI's posts like.

You could tell from the body language of the cunt in blue that he was shitting himself and would likely back down with some resistance. I definitely would have shit my pants and not reacted the way he did but fair play to Kolasinac for reading the signs.
-
He'll be top of the list of players we can realistically buy.
-
Bale is the exact sort of player we're trying to avoid.
-
If things keep going the way they're going when people say United they'll be talking about Newcastle.

Still not being used right. It gave us a penalty that was soft as fuck.

Anyway not sure how this conversation started but don't want to hijack this thread anymore.

That tends to happen when you start playing men's football regularly at 16 Isn't true either. He was our top scorer 5 years ago. Was still consistent hitting 15-20 a year despite moving deeper and deeper. League or all comps? Why does that matter? A deep lying forward scoring 15 goals and assisting a bucket more? Fat and shite aye. The PL 100 club is on Sky now with Rooney. Ridiculous compilation.

It's actually incredible that you can be the record scorer for your club and country and people will still underrate you. Rooney was great. It depends how you define great. Messi and Ronaldo are great, Brazil Ronaldo and Zidane were great, Rooney isn't in that category. They're the four greatest players of all time though. No they aren't. Throw Pele and Maradona in there and that is literally the 6 greatest players that ever lived. So no, Rooney isn't one of the greatest who ever lived, but he was undoubtedly great. He wasn't even a CF for us in the Ronaldo years.

Wrong.

We got rid of Lukaku because he didn't want to be there and was becoming a disruption. Then instead of signing someone on a free like Llorente we had faith in Martial and Rashford, which has turned out to be the wrong decision. He hasn't quite kicked on as well as I expected him to. Still a good player who is being completely starved of service of the minute and running himself into the ground. Important to remember that he's still only 21.
-
Very clear now. That's where he wished to play and he got his wish. He'll be back on the left once Martial is fit.

This is a fucking remarkable statement from someone that presumably lived through the Ferguson era. Ferguson is retired. I did say they aren't many who could do better. Benitez could well be one of them.

Aye. I know Lingard gets an awful lot of stick but he makes very clever runs and creates a lot of space for the likes of Rashford/Mata/Pogba to work with. His return in terms of goals and assists has been dreadful though. We have no real creativity in midfield. Fred has lost me after I've defended him for ages. He's neat and tidy but does fuck all. McTominay will drive forward and make things happen but ultimately doesn't have that creative spark. I actually feel sorry for McTominay in midfield at the moment. The lack of creativity when there is no Pogba is staggering. Letting Herrera go was arguably the biggest mistake in the summer.

While that was another disgrace of a performance yesterday, we are missing Martial, Pogba, Lingard, Shaw, Lindelof, Bailly, Jones and Wan Bissaka. That's basically half the first team squad and two more players who would have played yesterday instead of Rojo or Tuanzebe given the injuries. Rashford is also carrying an injury and having to play due to how short we are. He's lost a lot of pace in recent weeks. The squad is in awful shape at the moment. There aren't many managers who could do better. The only thing grating me now is Ole's interviews. He'll flat out refuse to criticise the team. Everything is "we were unlucky" or "that was a good performance." It's a stark contrast to his press work when he was caretaker manager. I kinda struggle to see any manager in the PL who would do substantially worse than Solskjær at this point. Your squad isn't particularly good, but it isn't horrible either. It's becoming more and more obvious that he is out of his depth in the Premier League. I believe with all the current injuries, the squad is terrible. The likes of West Ham, Everton etc. can currently put together better 11's than we can. Eventually players are going to come back and everyone will be fit and healthy. If the performances remain like this then Solskjaer will have to go. As of now I'm behind him.

I wasn't making any comparisons. I was merely pointing out that's it not as black and white as, "you spent £130m, you should have beaten us." I've been on here a long, long time and mostly stay of out football threads. When the discussion leads its way towards Man United then of course I'll have things to say. Aside from that I've been largely sympathetic towards the situation with Ashley. It’s very risky when you don’t have a proven goal scorer (no matter what people think of lukaku he has a good record) and placing a lot of pressure on a young player. If you’re not buying a striker it’s a big risk imo It was a major mistake. Every fan was happy for Lukaku to go as he didn't want to be here, but we expected a CF to be brought in as well. Even still I was cautiously optimistic with a pecking order of Martial, Rashford and Greenwood. Martials absence has highlighted how short we are though. I bring it on myself by getting heated about my team on a Newcastle forum, but some people are just minging tbh. it usually gets heated between me and them around once a year.

I'm from Newcastle you plastic Irish ballbag. Which part of Manchester are you from? Wow very aggressive. And asking a question that you answered yourself. Bit simple. Byker?

That's what good players cost now. Joelinton was 3 times the price of Alan Shearer ffs. So that is a terrible argument to put forward.
