All Chelsea. Have created fuck all clear chances while getting absolutely bummed on the counter. 4-0 and people still finding excuses to hate on Man United. Enjoy boys.

He scored 30 last year. It's hardly a crazy prediction. Probably the most crazy prediction I’ve ever heard. Pukki scores at probably the most difficult ground to score at.

Dropped me to £5 now.

To watch the matches or something?

Not as talented as Longstaff but I agree. Well that remains to be seen but I would have liked a midfield 2 of McTominay and Longstaff.
-
McTominay is absolutely brilliant and it really shows how little some people on here know. Matic is the one who needs replaced.
-
Yeah I misread that completely. I'm telling you. Night shift.

Whats your best team and formation Froggy if the current crop are all fit ? De Gea AWB - Lindelof - Maguire - Shaw McTominay - Matic Mata - Pogba - Martial Rashford. It'll be something like that. I expect Greenwood to force his way in soon enough. EDIT: Forgot Pogba. Night shift.

Wan-Bissaka wasn't addressing a serious need? He was addressing the most serious need. No more Ashley Young at RB. Signing a RB was priority number one this summer.

Very cherry picked but aye we will see. I think you'll be surprised.

We beat Leicester away, but he got som good results, I'll give him that. Who's to blame for the poor run then? You also beat Man City. Rafa truly did wonders. As above we lost two games that were extremely difficult. The Cardiff and Huddersfield results came when the season was basically over. Heads dropped all over the place. The dressing room was a massive problem and he seems to be tackling that head on. I'll just never understand people completely writing off a manager before he is even able to prove himself, especially Solskjaer who won 14 out of 19 games in charge. In general, especially given the state of the club when he inherited the job, he has done fantastic.
-
A honeymoon period is 3/4 games, not half a season. It's amazing what some managers can do and not be given credit for. You say fairly easy opposition and we beat Spurs away, Chelsea away, Arsenal away, Leicester away and drew with Liverpool. Easy aye.

You have one of the worst, if not the worst, manager in the league. And, yes, I am including Steve Bruce in that. What's this based on again? A poor couple of months with Cardiff? + the shambolic end of season you had. He will not last long. Lets be clear here He won 14 out of 19 games in charge. He broke a club record for consecutive away victories. Equalled a Premier League record by winning his first 6 games in charge. He won Premier League manager of the month and was the first Man United manager to do so since Sir Alex. He was the first Man United manager to score 5 in a game since Sir Alex. He was the first Man United manager to win his first 5 games since Sir Matt Busby. He was the first manager in Champions League history to progress after losing the home leg by 2 goals or more. He did all that while introducing Chong/Garner/Greenwood into the team. You're judging him because we lost a couple of extremely difficult away games (Arsenal/Wolves) and then fell out of contention and it was basically season over. Don't forget the season was basically over when he came and he managed to get us in contention for top 4, which was quite frankly a miracle. Truth is none of us know just how good of a manager he is. Based on his short, record breaking tenure so far though, it's idiotic to say he's shite.

We weren't miles off last year despite a disaster season and we've massively strengthened our two weakest areas. We'll be fine.
-
Man united have the worst squad in top 6 imo It's hard to disagree with but then at the same time the top 6 is very strong so it's not really a huge insult either.
-
And I can see why you say that. You stand to gain everything by keeping him and letting him fulfil his potential. Far too much risk involved for a deal to ever be close.
-
Quite young for a centre back aye. Obviously helps he has a lot of premier league experience though. I did want Longstaff, but if we spent £50m on him he'd have been our worst summer signing by a mile. He's played 9 games in the Premier League or something and then got a bad injury. Ludicrous price tag.

40 million is a very reasonable price for a talented and relatively young player with an English passport. It is a good purchase for Everton. I love Iwobi as a person and I really hope he develops further and reaches his full potential, but I can't lie, I am worried. Not sure he'll ever have any outstanding attributes. I like the signing of Saint-Maximin a lot better, and for half the fee at that. Albeit Iwobi is an excellent character with absolutely no concerns on that side of things. But still ... Let us be honest, if Allan was born in Croydon or Woodford rather than the banlieues of Paris he would cost 30 million too, despite his shortcomings. Iwobi will do well, imo, and can be a big player for a club at that level, even if he doesn't develop too much more. He is clearly very skillful, a good passer, and is surprisingly strong/quick. He lacks something around the goal in terms of decision making (his return has never been enough in that area), but this is why the player is going to Everton. I find the popular idea that Iwobi is rubbish to be crazy. It's Newcastle Online. Everyone is rubbish except Rafa Benitez.

Citeh have took the piss out of Manchester United again , just like they did with Sanchez, by getting you to engage in some ridiculous cock measuring campaign for someone you didn't really need. You needed a strong, commanding centre half who is good at defending. You got a good footbaling centre half whose strength lies in bringing the ball out. Until Manchester United have a manager who identifies their lack of a good stopper type centre half, instead of the mistake waiting to happen type, which you seem to have a surplus of, then I simply cannot see you challenging the top 4 or 5. The criticism of Woodward, and I hear it all of the time too, is madness. Every window it seems , he produces a hefty transfer pot for whoever is managing the team. We were in for Maguire long before City were. Maguire and Lindelof is a strong pairing and a pairing that can bring the ball out quickly. The criticism of Woodward isn't the money. It's the interference in transfers, like telling Jose no when it came to Alderweireld.

A lot of you asking questions so I'll clear up as much as I can. £77m for Lukaku is a great price. He wanted out, and was forcing the move. However, this was completely sanctioned by OGS. He doesn't fit the profile of the team we're trying to build. We play one striker, and have Rashford, Martial, Sanchez and Greenwood who can/will play there. You will all be talking about Greenwood soon enough trust me. I see some criticism of Woodward also but no midfielder aside, this has been a very solid summer window. We badly needed a centre back, and we signed one of the best in the league who is also young, English and wanted to come to the club. We badly needed a right back, and signed one who is already head and shoulders over what we have and will only get better. He's a beast. We also signed a young, hungry winger who can play across any of the front 3 positions. I'm quite happy. It's a solid foundation for a strong top 4 challenge which can be build upon in January and next summer.

Over £100m for Lukaku and Rojo would be nice. We really needed a midfielder though.
