He is still a stocky fucker like, but he genuinely is in the best shape he has been in for a while. Welbeck silencing doubters today as well. Cracking finish.

He's in great shape right now. The best he's probably been since joining us. Is he fuck. It's quite clear to see. Not sure how much attention you pay to Wayne Rooney in pre-season. Even Moyes and Vidic came out and said he was in fantastic shape this summer.

Van Persie. Beating a good Swansea side away from home without even getting out of first gear. Great day at the office thus far.

Bar RVP and Welbeck, and not just because of the goals, all of our players have been off the pace. Swansea have been the better side but we're doing the job. Is Darren Fletcher totally fucked, is he ever going to come back? Manu have really missed his energy since that happened imo. He had a bad bowel disease which required surgery. He's OK now but is nowhere near match fit and after being out as long as he has I can't see him getting back to the level he was at. Such a shame because he was a top professional and wore his heart on his sleeve. He'll probably play a few cup games before Christmas but I can't see him starting a league game before that.

not exactly the most solid defender I've ever seen but good on the ball and bringing it forward is he worth the ridiculous sum of money they paid for him? An already solid player, who is young, English and versatile. He's only going to get better. He's definitely worth what he paid for him.

He's already a good player but I really don't feel comfortable with him in defence. I think his future role will be a defensive midfielder. We've played him there quite a few times, like against Real Madrid, and he done a super job.

Completely different position. Cleverley is our starting centre midfielder. Kagawa plays in the hole. And that's the problem. Oh and I'm not sure winning the league by 11 points is a problem. Thanks to Cleverley I guess? I do watch Manu - not as often as you, of course - and I have never seen anything to me that suggests that he's anything but decent; not somebody I'd start for a club challenging for the CL. Add to it than your other midfielder is Giggs... and you really have a big gaping hole in there. Carrick's class though. Thanks to everybody. Carrick and Cleverley are our two starting central midfielders. Carrick received tons of praise from everybody last season but a lot of people seem to forget that the reason he was able to play so many key passes was because of the space he had, which was due to Cleverley. Cleverleys protection of Carrick is one of the main reasons we walked the league last year. He's a very good box to box midfielder who is fantastic at breaking up play and then playing the simple, smart pass to retain possession.

I agree that Kagawa needs to play, but Cleverley should start as well.

Feel free to quote it. We're the ones who watch him week in and week out and know exactly what he brings to the side.

I think Jill has started very strong on first glance as well.

That's a woeful team for Moyes to field. Full strength aside from a suspended Rafael and an unsettled Rooney.

My mate is beside me here. He said, "Bonjour, good to see Mike Cashley keeping the French economy afloat. Wankers" . . I don't get it. If you don't get mine I don't get yours. Whoops.
