I've thought about this sort of thing before. Imagine the likes of Newry City when they still existed. If I were a billionaire and was willing to spend a large chunk of my fortune on the club, what players do you think would realistically come and play in the Northern Irish league? How far would it actually get them like. I can remember Shelbourne holding Deportivo to a 0-0 years ago. Imagine getting Newry into the group stages of the CL.

What if you go 1-0 down in a game and a drastic tactical change is needed? Everybody huddle up on the sidelines and vote? What if it was a tie, who decides on the deciding vote etc. Also the guy on the sidelines would feel pretty worthless if people were making his/her decisions. It would be a good idea for picking the starting line-up, as the fans know what is best most of the time, but for in game tactical decisions it would be a shambles. There are probably going to be some clubs who try for joint managers again, but it's been shown to be a mistake in the past.

I know everybody cares loads, but it turns out this is actually on minutes played and he will be allowed to go for €18m at the end of the season.
