Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press

I'd be surprised if it came down to anything more than Mike trying to knock an extra few quid off whatever they want. -
Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press
Hanshithispantz replied to Kaizero's topic in Football
Because it wouldn't be surprising if they told him he'd have funds for the summer and then the same thing happens. Only next time leaving us with a poor Premiership squad which he probably won't accept. -
Aye, I'm trying not to get too worried but the parallels to the window that finished Keegan off are there. I don't think Rafa would walk like, but the way he's spoke in interviews he won't be happy if we don't bring anyone in, he pretty much outright said he wanted a winger and a central midfielder.

There was never much doubt Gayle was a good forward when we signed him though. You cannot really say that for Doumbia.

Ah, the need to bring 'balance'. -
http://gifrific.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Blackadder-Confused-Look.gif He scored 9 in 34 last season despite missing about 2 open goals a game. He never looked out if his depth at any point either, actually looked pretty comfortable. For reference England international Bobby Zamora spent over a decade in the Premiership.

Cannot fault that bloke for conning us mind "When you go to bed at night think of 100 different ways you can score a goal" Aye that'll help him rifle a penalty in.
-
Nailed it. Good/bad/has potential/doesn't have potential - argue till the cows come home. He isn't remotely dependable and we need more than that. He was always the wrong signing. Aye basically this.

that's what gets me like. Proudly boasting about 'calling it' back when he was 20 and just arrived in the country Barring a miracle he's finished here like, he's lost his place to Murphy and with no more cups he'll be lucky to make more than half a dozen appearances before the season is up. I love you Hans, but this is one thing we think the complete opposite on like. I thought he was shit last season and I find the almost cult status that he has baffling, but I'd much rather be wrong about him and thought he'd piss this league along with Perez. Same here. Seen precious little worth persevering with since we signed him tbh. Since Benitez has signed I agree with what yous are saying for the most part, and he's never going to lead the line here even if he turns out to be good - Benitez started Cisse who was in vile form last season ahead of him because of his movement. He's getting to the age now where it cannot really be used as an excuse anymore and we cannot really afford to keep giving him chances. I just disagree that he's been that bad I think there's a decent Premiership forward in there even with his god awful finishing. It's not even that though, the incessant "carthorse" and "you're not allowed to say Mitro cannot finish" posts do my head in The same happened with Cisse and it's painful to read.

I'm not too arsed about us going out tbh, I just find our defence massively worrying. Murphy is ahead of Mitrovic now so there's no real worry there. No matter who plays in defence though we look shaky as fuck. -

This, pathetic collapse. he sounded shite like, and his demanding to take penalties is irritating, but this second half has sounded embarrassing all round. I don't even think it's the line-up either tbh (bar putting Shelvey in), we've looked capable of folding like this in the league plenty of times. -

I wouldn't mind if he'd ever hit a penalty with any conviction but he hasn't. If the keeper guesses right they're saved. Without ever seeing Lazaar take a penalty I'm pretty safe knowing it gets belted into the top corner. -

Saying he's shite infront of goal is fine and correct. I don't think anyone's ever denied this Plenty have denied that at different stages like. Anyway, my point was that there's a decent chance he'll score at some stage so be prepared for a backlash Plenty have denied that Mitrovic is poor in front of goal? I cannot remember ever seeing that like but fair enough. -

He literally rotated us in the league for the quarters against Hull, suggesting he doesn't care about the cups is canny naive like.
