Newcastle United vs. Burnley: 30/09/23 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

If Burnley try to play out from the back you would imagine we'll force them into a lot of mistakes and it could be a cricket score. There's just no chance they will have to quality to do it. -
The world's gone to pot.

Hayden gets a whiff of fanny and his thread quality tanks spectacularly. -
Knocking Man City out with Dummett and Lascelles at the back Bedwetters in the the mud.

Missed Pauly D's ultra slides -
Not as bad as I remember tbf, probably a case of the match thread being OTT.

Was the Southampton game I meant, sorry. This is the start, it goes on for a few pages:
-
There was a good complilation of his cameos posted on here when he was apparently 'shite'. He looked good back then, he was just clearly unfit and not up to speed with our gameplan. The Brentford (?) game where he was tactically subbed at half time remains one of the most absurd mass critisisms of a player I've seen.

The Shef Utd commentary moaning about the free kick for the 3rd is an impressive level of bias like -
The Longstaff goal fairly stood but it is a fucking awful rule like The Gordon penalty should was about as clear a penalty as you'll see.
-
Milan are a top team like, they aren't on a par with Man City or Madrid, but they're one of the better sides in Europe. If we went to Villa Park, the Amex, or Tottenham's ground and came away with a point in a similar game we'd accept it
-
How the fuck can you blow on a corner you stupid cunt
-
We've controlled the game tbf but Milan are dangerous when they decide to come forward. Hopefully we've sussed them and can be a bit more dangerous 2nd half.
-
We're away at the San Siro and people are complaining that we're playing a midfield 5?
-
Fucking hell Longstaff

Like a kill shot on Sniper Elite.

Trying to pull out of a challenge is irrelevant if you don't manage to do so I think the penalty rules are shite, but as Gordon was clearly fouled in the box the fact there's a conversation around it is mad. The refs made some daft shite up about 'inevitable collisions' or something after the Tottenham v Brentford match, which doesn't even make sence in the context of either Gordon's penalty, or the one Brentford were robbed of against Tottenham.
-
Maybe I need to see it again. Nowt wrong with a still image in context, it was clear he hooked his arm though, I don't think that was the issue. If it was before (or during) the pubch it's an obvious foul, aye.
-
I'm genuinely baffled as to how people can think the Fraser shout agai st Man City should be a penalty, but that shouldn't. (Both should have been).
-
I genuinely don't believe you're not just playing your charecter here Froggy. Sorry n all that.
-
Why are you posting a still image? He hooks his arm after the punch. I can see where people could argue it was a foul like, if incredibly soft, but stuff like that happens all the time in set pieces which is why they raised the bar during them.
-
The keeper cannot pull out of the challenge because he's absolutely barreled in Gordon isn't getting there because he has to adjust his legs to brace for being sliced in half. He's won the race by any reasonable measure. You've revealed yourself to be an unreliable narrator.
-
I don't care what 'my own fans' are saying Video below: It's a clear foul. Again, explain how it's not?
-
I'm not. Explain how Gordon wasn't fouled?
