Manchester United 0-3 Newcastle United (01/11/23)

Imagine explaining to your family and friends that you're having to cancel your birthday party because your boss isn't happy with the performance of the company you work for -
I get what you're saying but I just don't think criminal cases fit at all like. For one, in actual criminal cases there's generally a limit to the scope of investigation isn't there? Like of someone was found to have burgled 7 ASDAs and was charged, would the police then sift through his life just to find out if he'd burgled more? He lived in Leeds for a couple of years, maybe they should run an intense investigation of burgleries down there during his time spent? Maybe he also killed someone? He's a wrongun after all.

But the Italian FA's punishment has carried over to England. If any punishment isn't concurrent then it's obviously ridiculous, there's no reason to try to destroy his career. Edit: If the FA decide his breaches in the UK are worthy of more than a 10-month ban then fair enough. You would extend the ban by the difference. He would have to basically be found match fixing to justify any extention though, given the benchmark set by Toney. EDIT 2: Yorkie's already made my point in a better way, it's basically double jeopardy.

If the FA find out he hasn't been betting on football over here then that's even worse tbh
-
Aye, Howe has literally just claimed he was trailing Matt Targett as a CM but Trippier at LB or Tino on the wing is apparently fantasy

Dummett is an excellent 1 on 1 defender tbf -
Even for Hall's goal it was his backing into Maguire which caused the shite headed clearance.
-
Not a chance you'd take Walker in this side ahead of Trippier like.
-
A Joe Willock that scores goals again is a truly filthy prospect.

Hall's line breaking passes to the forwards are quality. -
I mean Lascelles pulling that lanky cunt back in the box. I missed the replay but he looked all over him, and clearly stopped him from getting involved in play.
-
Lascelles was massively lucky though, his pull back was borderline and I doubt it would have been overturned if it was given. Taylor was shite in general though and Wolves broke 3-4 times after clear fouls.
-
If you slide in then pull out once you've realised you've fucked up it's still a penalty if the attacker is impeded. It's a shite, soft penalty to give away out of nowhere, and Schar made sure of the contact, but it was a clear foul. The same with the Gordon penalty a little while back, if you're late to the ball it's a foul.

He doesn't stop early enough though. Regardless of whether a defender tries to pull out, if they've put themselves into a position where they're going to collide with the attacker it's a penalty. -

It is a penalty like. Schar dives but Hwang is going to hit him regardless -
Yeah, if he wanted to make money he could have done it easily on the card markets. Placing 'legitimate' bets despite the risks indicates an addiction. I'm not sure where the "if he was an addict he would be betting on the horses instead" comments are coming from like, that's a mental take
-
Well yeah, I haven't said anything different
-
You think Howe extended his near £50k a week contract for his character? Do you not think he also did it because he trusts him as a squad player and will happily put him in when needed?
-
But signing another player, bedding them in, training them up for 6-month before sending them packing is? It's pretty obvious Howe trusts his squad and I don't see how Ritchie is any different. 'Shite' Paul Dummet was excellent against Man City.
