Why should somebody who works in football fall into an exception? If I nutted somebody and went to prison I'd lose my job, why should it be different for somebody in football? Somebody who is more likely to be looked upon as a role model than I am. Ok, if you 'nutted' someone like Pardew did you wouldn't go to Prison. Fact. Depends on the curcumstances tbh, you could easily get sent down for Violent Disorder for something as little as what Pardew did. It's not like assault is outright accepted in football either, for example Duncan Feguson.

It's a load of bollocks like but he makes a good argument out of it.

go back a page or 2. It was an off the cuff comment, but if our team had been managed by Klopp and his team the past 3 and a half seasons instead of "Hatem's stats weren't right" Pardew I don't think its that much of a stretch for us to be challenging with the top 4.
-
How is the spending irrelevant? How many times to do hear managers given credit for the jobs they have done on little resources? Because he isnt making the signings.
-
You suggested Pardew is average at best. I was asking you who do you want and where we could finish, which you have now answered. But I have to disagree with that you think our squad is capable of top 4. Dunno about anyone else, but I did not expect this development. possibly the most insane post i've seen in some time Didn't want to be blunt, I don't know people well enough on here to know whether they are being sarcastic or not. sorry. Even if I was being serious it goes beyond me believing we're capable of top 4. I couldn't reasonably expect any manager to come in and tear shit apart in his first season. It's a working project, and a one where we're no better off that we were 2 years ago with a worse squad under Pardew.
-
His spending is irrelevant (and he's spent none/very little of it anyway) he's given players and it's his job to get them to play football, the players he's given have hardly reflected the -£45m net spend or whatever it is.
-
You suggested Pardew is average at best. Are you suggesting that he's not?
-
Anyway I want Klepp and I reckon we'd finish top 4 with him. Does that answer the question?

Such bollocks man. As always, and as is obvious, the positive side is more evident when we win and the negative side more evident when we lose. And what exactly is the positive side? He's a poor to average manager (place him where you want within that), there's no positives to having him in charge other than the fact "he might be better than to next bloke," which tbf is a factor, but not a one that should reflect how you feel about Pardew himself. Tell us who you want as manager, and where you expect us to be position wise with your suggestion? Ergh. Thought so. It's a pointless question that has nothing at all to do with what I'm saying.

It's not a case of being swayed, it's that the worse he does the less stock he holds as a manager.
-
Not even sure what's going on anymore.

Here's my post after that, I'm still the same now tbh:

Proper hater you, Hans Not sure what you're trying to achieve by bringing up a balanced opinion of mine from months back like.

Where have I said this poll is better than nufcblogs? I'm saying that nufcblogs poll is just as worthless, the number of voters is irrelevant. This forum is going to be slanted to sacking him as he's not exactly popular on this board, where as the people who read Ed's blog are obviously simple, so you can sort of disregard any poll on there. And what's wrong with "crying for the sack" when he's doing absolutely terrible, where as having a bit more leeway when he's doing well, especially when we aren't entirely safe in the league? I would prefer to let him continue as long as he can on a good run, unless of course someone like Laudrup is declaring his interest to come here in which case he can fuck off. If next season he starts with an opening 8 game record of 1-2-5 I'll want him gone for just about anyone, the number of managers that I would willingly accept with gritted teeth just to sort us out would be enormous.
-
Brett you really need to start understanding the POVs that you're reading because this is getting irritating as fuck, people shouldn't have to spell everything out to you ffs. I want Pardew sacked and have wanted him sacked for fucking ages (with varying degrees of ferocity depending on how he's doing), and I think that the club would have been well within their rights to sack him for the headbutt on Meyler, it's about the half dozenth time this season he's went on like a prat on the touchline and this was the worst of the lot, I also think that, as a punishment from the FA (it shouldn't need saying but this is entirely separate from any punishment from Ashley) I think anything over an 8 game stadium ban would be getting a bit daft.
-
But it gives you an idea of the demographic that are voting. Everyone on N-O except Brett and Ian (paragons of light) are hysterical fannys who want Alan Pardew physically torn apart and scattered across a pig pen, where as anyone who frequents nufcblog are happy enough to read Ed's illiterate ramblings.
-
Have you ever read an article on nufcblog?
-
I didn't realise it was Pardew's job to entertain the crowd by playing some pantomime villain that goes around assaulting players like, but fair do's, it's the biggest bit of entertainment he's dished out all season. Did you actually read the whole article? Yes, what have I missed like? He plays the headbutt down as Pardew going in soft for show or some such bollocks because he didn't full on bull-rush the cunt Zinedine Zidane style. I'm not trying to call Pardew the devil for what he did, it was minimal contact when you look at the incident out of context, still fucking ridiculous and something you would rightfully be sparked out for anywhere else in the world but a football pitch, but I've honestly seen very few places try to paint it as anything else, the shithouse papers aside? Jeff Stelling's AMAZING REACTION was the kind of reaction I imagine any sane bloke had (or atleast thought) whilst watching the game live, but it's painted, out of context, as hyperbole because it fits the argument, "everyone is going over the top!" He'd just watched a manager walk up to a player and "lean his head into him" or whatever you want to call it, it's almost completely unheard of because 99% of managers aren't so fucking dense.

Carver and Stone going rogue, starting Remie Streete and Mike Williamson on the wings with Dan Gosling centre back hoofing it to Vurnon Anita upfront. Laying people out on the touchline.

Doesn't count on here because he's one of the best managers in the world, it happened in another country and it was assault on a coach and not a player. Brett acting as if these things aren't factors. Well at least you didn't bold the first part which people reckons makes a difference, if you're shit, the headbutt is worth sacking, if you're world class, it's not sack worthy For the other two, of course they are factors however there's not a zero game ban to a sacking here between the two incidents, or even at least a 10 plus stadium ban. Yeah I think a 10 game stadium ban would be a little over the top. As for the first bit it depends if the club feel he's worth keeping on because of the negative press he brings with his behavior, a world class manager will obviously get a lot of leeway in that regard. Fergie having bust ups with his players as an example. Not that it would make the offence any less ridiculous and the FA shouldn't take that into regard at all.
