  1. Boro desperate to kick up a fuss so we don't all forget about them.
  2. http://www.reactiongifs.us/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/brent_rambo_approves.gif
  3. Aye I've always thought the same, I've never really got the grief he gets.
  4. I like how "outrage", "hysterical" and their like are constantly thrown about by Ian, as if he's some kind of beacon of serenity. It's almost as if he's trying to play the opposing argument down to give his own some credence.
  5. Bit harsh. On mole IMO. And Ryder. Realised I did it myself in that post.
  6. Mole writes like that on here with every post I really like Mole, he's a knowledgeable lad, but that irritates the fuck out of me.
  7. Pushing someone is assault isn't it? I don't remember assault being screamed at Meyler. When have you ever seen a player sent off for a push? It's incredibly rare if ever, many times the referee wouldn't even give a yellow card. What Pardew did would be a red card in any context within football. There's a massive gulf in seriousness between the 2, even if you can conclude that both actions are equally as harmless. Pardew commited an offence that would see a player banned for 3 games. No other manager has ever done anything like that on these shores, certainly not in this decade. Maybe people are going OTT but it's expected imo.
  8. Aren't you the one who's being anal by insisting it's a "nudge with his head"? It was a terrible nut, but whatever, this reaction was always going to happen when a manager places his head onto an opposing players' chin in an aggressive and forceful manner, but not necessarily with enough force to cause any major damage.
  9. If a player headbutted a manager would he get a "slap on the wrist"? I highly doubt it, for some reason.
  10. Lineker is probably taking the piss, he seems pretty self aware.
  11. If Pardew pushed Meyler and Meyler headbutted Pardew there would be nowhere near the amount of outrage, I'd imagine not anyway Meyler would get a minumum 3 match ban and Pardew would get a few game's touchline ban at worst I'd imagine. He didn't push him though, he walked up and headbutted him/looked at him funny/whatever you going to play it down as next. EDIT: Outrage aimed at Pardew anyway, I think Meyler would get slated.
  12. It's worse because Meyler pushed Pardew out of his way as he was standing in his path as he hurtled towards him with speed, where as Pardew headbutted him, or rubbed his forehead on him (the fucking creep). Meyler's push was unnecessarily aggressive, because he's a daft cunt, but at the very worst it's a yellow card offense on and off the pitch. Pardew's was obvious violent misconduct.
  13. tbf to Ron he did say "in my book"
  14. Was it Pardew who met some bloke on holiday and ended up seeing his missus behind his back? Seem to remember the emails.
  15. Saw this on Facebook. Making more friends http://www.sunderlandecho.com/news/local/all-news/manchester-city-fans-write-letters-of-praise-to-sunderland-supporters-1-6481976 Just waiting for the unified badge.
  16. Far rather take Carroll than Crouch like.
  17. By the time Anita came off the game was lost, it was a combination of replacing his entire central midfield and taking off his main creative force in Marveaux knowing fine well that Cabaye wasn't going to last the full 90 that did it for me. We ended the game with Bigirimana, Perch, Obertan and Gutierrez in midfield for literally no reason at all, I've never seen anything like it.
  18. Fucking hell that Reading game man, said it many times but those were the 3 worst substitutions I've ever seen. Absolutely diabolical.
  19. Henderson's will always be underrated as he was seen as a total joke from the beginning, happens to a lot of player when they don't immediately set the world alight after a big move. EDIT: He's been better than Courtinho.
  20. Euro qualifiers? The team as a whole is really poor and disjointed like, nothing to look forward to at all. EDIT: I never saw the game mind, just going off the teamsheat.
  21. Under Fergie I think he was pretty invaluable playing the "Pardew's wet dream" role. Honestly haven't really watched them much under Moyes, I just like laughing at their results. He's a great passer of the ball which is sometimes overlooked. Nothing wrong with him playing deep imo, and he still grabs his fair share of goals.
  22. Not at all Rooney is massively underrated like, he doesn't tear up trees for England but then no-one does, he's a 20 goal a season striker when played up front.
