  1. Doesn't count on here because he's one of the best managers in the world, it happened in another country and it was assault on a coach and not a player. Brett acting as if these things aren't factors.
  2. ‘When you’re the king, you can do anything’ I think I'm beginning to like him.
  3. He phrased what he meant pretty well tbh.
  4. Retweeting idiots too: Elizabeth ‏@legsidelizzy 4m @LukeEdwardsTele I honestly can't see what people are getting offended about. I read the piece and that sentence didn't even register That just makes you stupid, pet.
  5. He slung a shoe at Beckham too, but then he adapted, and accordingly so.
  6. This, there's nothing "small town" about it (and Newcastle is hardly a fucking "small town" in any case ) It's competitive sport, fair play there's no real need for the violence or excess grief but wearing the oppositions shirt, attending their cup final and cheering them on is cringe inducing in the extreme, I imagine the vast majority of the mackems there thought the same too.
  7. It's a different matter altogether doing something for charity like
  8. If we're using "one of" in the broadest possible manner then it's spot on, aye.
  9. Representing his dad by wearing a sunderland top and cheering them on at Wembley is absolutely horrific. I would think about any fan doing that with their rivals, it's just terrible. Anything to get a bit of recognition.
  10. Wow ... so I've said black people who are discriminated against should go back to their countries?! Right, well carry on the discussion. I'll bow out of this one thanks. You think that Sol Campbell should go back to his own country? It's probably best if you do bow out of it, yeah.
  11. Aye, I thought it was all rosy tbh.
  12. What the fuck is Kaka talking about?
  13. Im just a one time Lover turned Hater, like a bitter ex who wants to see him DESTROYED. That's fair enough like, he is a proper cunt.
  14. Half a season would be well over the top like imo, the club have decided against sacking him and have already punished him internally so I don't believe the FA should go completely daft with their ban. Not that I'd be too bothered if they did as he'll probably be sacked because of it, I just don't like the idea of those horrific cunts in FA dishing out mega-bans. 6-8 games would be enough imo, that's still almost unheard of (Suarez the obvious one), any more and you're just slinging random high numbers about without any real rhyme or reason behind it imo. EDIT: Or maybe a decent stadium ban and then a hefty touchline ban after that.
  15. Mourinho was in Spain at the time, and it was an attack on another coach, not a player. It's a bit different like. Still ridiculous obviously, but we shouldn't be looking at that incident when deciding the punishment for this. An 8 game ban would be on the harsher side of things like, I doubt he'll get anymore than that and if he does it would probably be a bit overkill from the FA.
  16. Calling him a "monster on the touchline" is sensationalism to sell papers/gain hits, it happens all the time with just about every news story you can think of. I don't really think the calls for him to be sacked are unwarranted though, the seriousness of it has been highlighted by his initial punishment (£100k fine and a formal warning) which the LMA have agreed with. I imagine there would be a fair few clubs who would get rid of their manager after headbutting a player tbh, especially a one who has performed poorly. You'd obviously give Wenger some leeway if he decked someone on the touchline.
  17. Hyperbole from Jeff Stelling? He got it absolutely spot on. The Daily Mail/Star et all are shit papers, Hanson is a a shit pundit, as is Robbie Savage, you didn't really need to scour the web for select quotes from worldwide news sites to prove that.
  18. Aye I personally think it's funny as fuck tbh, he's actually went up in my estimations Still though, he did sort of headbutt a player, there's obviously going to be a lot said about it and people are entitled to believe he probably should be sacked for it, as to be fair he probably should have been
  19. He's been formally warned by his employer and his own union have pretty much wiped their hands of him. But aye, it's just the media blowing a manager headbutting a player out of proportion. I like how Kinnear is universally hated for being a complete cretin, yet he's never done anything even remotely cockish as what fucking Pardew has done, who can literally nut a player and still have people be like "ahh it was fuck all man, it's not like he floored the lad or out".
  20. Don't even know if that was taking the piss of not tbh, it just read well.
  21. What the fuck's he doing, man? Scouserific.
  22. This is the kind of insight I think this board misses at times.
