But then we cannot hold it tight for 70 minutes and "wait for the magic".
-
I cannot really criticise him as nobody was any cop by the time he came on. It was still the wrong sub though.
-
All the lad offers is goals and he's not great at that either. What I would like is a striker that can contribute to the other 10 players and isn't just reliant on the others performing for him. Doesn't do enough for the team. Not brilliant at what he does. Ah right mate

You'll change your tune when you see the match. Basically this. -

FFS. Unbelievable. I would have probably accepted a draw beforehand fwiw, that isn't the problem here, the nature of that draw is. -
Honestly cannot understand why anyone would genuinely support him now. Not just show an indifference to him, but actually support him.
-
"hysterical" We're in a fucking relegation scrap man.
-
I would just prefer the manager to get the team functioning well as a unit personally, not having a striker who supposedly does everything.
-
They'd have buried that corner if it wasn't for Gosling's distracting run into the box.
-
People seem to have took the "deluded Geordie" tag to heart and are trying everything in their power to be as passive as possible, despite our manager clearly not fit for purpose.

It's probably true in theory but it's still harsh. We should be creating more chances, not missing the couple we do create and then looking back and saying "what if"? He also assisted our first goal, so perhaps he gained us a point? yes he set up the first goal but games are always broke down to big moments and that miss was absolutely massive in the context of the game, we were bossing it and the 2nd goal could have virtually wrapped up the match by half time. In the end we go in 1 up at HT, they regroup make a tactical change and come out a different side and put us on the back foot and we struggled to get back into the game. Aye that's definitely true, as I said theoretically I suppose he did lose us the points with that miss. It isn't his fault that we done absolutely nothing of note after that though and he wasn't exactly given the chance to redeem himself.
-
Chances? what game was you watching? i only saw one chance and granted he should have scored it blindfolded but none the less i'm more concerned about the aforementioned lack of creation and sitting back as soon as we get a lead looking to do nothing but hold a lead. Shots at goal = clear cut chances to some people, man. Anyway he was pretty poor second half and he missed an absolute sitter. It's just a massive shame that neither him nor anyone else were given the chance to rectify it. Hence he's shit and is no longer good enough for us until he bundles home an injury time winner next week with his inly shot on goal.

Has it been mentioned how much of a monumental bellend this man is?
-
Got 15 minutes and didn't do anything, along with the rest of the side. This will happen when you view flair players as more of a wild card like Pardew seems too.

Thought he looked good first half. Looked really angry the 2nd. -
Why would any manager do any of those things, never mind all of that and more. He's went full retard. You never go full retard.
-
It's no game plan, though. Wey of course Davie, that's the point The bloke is fucking horrific, I know a couple will still come in mocking the state of this thread like some weird equine mounted bellend though, as per.

True. We need a striker who can knock in simple chances. We'd need to start creating more of them too like. -
Go a goal ahead and then just wait for the opponents to score. It's the strangest game plan I've ever seen.
-
I can't think of worse apart from Kinnear, but at least he had the excuse of working with shit. Pardew's doing marginally better with much better resources. Souness was far worse, tbh. If he's manager at the start of next season something drastic needs to be done. Pardew give us a wave, ffs. Wankers. Really? That's unbelievable

What? I believe he said "ngrrhgrrgrggggrgrrrr" -
They have to sack him, there's no fucking way he can still be our manager now. It's beyond a joke.
-
Seriously why would you do that?

Making a change on a last minute corner.
