  1. I don't think it helped matters much by opening the post with the bullshit line of: He was arguably the best non-defensive player on the park ffs, Stoke did well to stop most or his runs from coming to anything but it was ultimately one of his marauding runs that got us back into the game and another certainly could have been awarded a penalty. In fact these runs were probably the only piece of our attacking play that worked until Marveaux came on. It wasn't the best performance from him by any means but he wasn't "disappointing", and his pass completion rate certainly didn't "tell the whole story". So no, not everyone agrees with the drivel you come out with, and the fact you come out with in on such a regular basis is probably the reason why it is noticed more.
  2. Bent is a poacher, as was Inzaghi. Cisse needs to be the furthest player forward but he's not a poacher ffs. The Stoke game was awful, everyone saw that (even the man himself and his manager came out and agreed) but it's hardly the norm, he's more than capable when he drops back. There's also the fact Cisse can score goals from anywhere and in any fashion, he still needs a degree of service to do this like. I'm not continuing this conversation anyway, it's ludicrous.
  3. You've been comparing Cisse to Darren Bent. I'd rather you insulted my mother tbh.
  4. Pretty much what Jim said, it's half the fallout from being a contrary WUM. However it would be daft for Sissoko to "slow down" when it's his pace, power and directness that has been effective for us, and what won us the freekick for the equaliser. If he slows down and tries to play the game like Mata he'll probably look useless.
  5. aye. I was going to edit that in after reading Mole & Huss' comments but was unsure how the other players would be effected, I got it from that WhoScored site which TheCollegeDropout uses religiously as fuel for his incoherent arguments.
  6. He has 2 assists in 6 games. Toure & Wilshire both have 3 assists in 24 & 18 games respectively. If we're going to be thick and base things PURELY ON FACTS his current passing game has him assisting a goal 1 in every 3 games. Juan Mata assists 1 in every 2.9.
  7. Fucking love how calm he is for the goal, took it like Berbatov.
  8. Ridiculous man. I honestly think he's looked OK since his return from Africa tbh, awful challenge yesterday obviously but I think we would be mental to just sell him. Like totally fucking winda licking mental.
  9. He pushed a player who had just pushed him, then got surrounded by bodies and pushed another. Sending him off would have been borderline retarded.
  10. He took a SPAS-12 into the changing rooms after the match and just fucking mowed everyone down.
  11. All 3 of his substitutions were great today, so relieved to see Campbell come on instead of Obertan and he played his part in the goal.
  12. Ultimately 2 wins and a draw in 13 league games is the managers doing. We were quite unlucky with injuries and our reserve personnel isn't the greatest but we could still put our a decent side every week (comparatively at least). It's a tired point anyway, but I cannot take anyone seriously if they fail to acknowledge that he completely fucked up hard and often there.
  13. Are you saying any of that is untrue today? I don't want to see the back of him and I don't think many people have actually suggested that (unless we have some awesome replacement lined up) I just think we still look very disjointed in attack, which is incredibly annoying when you look at the players we have at our disposal.
  14. for all I will give Pardew credit for turning us around from the ridiculous slump he put us in we still look a very average side, and our creativity is pretty much non-existent. We'll flourish against attacking sides as there's space in the game for the pace and power of our individual players to shine through, but against an organised and well drilled side we have no answers. Since Sissoko, Gouffran & Mbiwa have came into the squad we're 4th in the form guide. If we'd played the first 6 games of the season like this in August, after just adding those three, I think we'd be very optimistic. Players gelling, adapting to English football, showing a resolve to come back from behind to win games, playing well in spells, we'd be raving about the potential. Unfortunately I think the form November to January has ruined the faith a fair few have in Pardew, fair enough I guess. Set pieces would still be shit though. I cannot really complain about the results, they've been good since the new arrivals, we just still look very poor in the final 3rd. EDIT: See today, we won the game with the only 2 clear chances on goal that I can remember.

You mean like Stoke, the anti-christ of teams That Stoke that we beat today btw. Unsurprisingly you've missed the point.
  16. About the same as Suarez then.

  18. Stop crediting his goal in an effort to mask your agenda.
  19. He was awful today, no doubt, but his passing and ball retention hasn't been bad at all, especially since we've seen a little bit of a revival from the side on a whole. If anything he's looked capable.
  20. No it hasn't. Yes it has.
