What the fuck are they talking about man, do they think that Lille and Lyon have 1 man who finds them talent from "deepest darkest areas of non-league European football" and ushers them all into their accadamy like? Graham Carrs job isn't to find unknown players who we can turn into stars (although that may be part of it), it's to find players, whether they be unknown to the masses or otherwise, who will fit into and improve our team, so far the results speak for themselves. Granted it itn't just Carr, it's the whole team at the top who are involved, but he does the legwork.

I think you're being a bit harsh on Italy (they are arguably better than Portugal) but I see the point. How am I being harsh on Italy? They're rated as to how they've performed (3 draws and a win against the worst performing team in the tournament). It's a flawed system, you have Italy with a 25% win percentage because of their draw with us, where as Denmark who were knocked out in the group stages have a 33% win percentage? It's hardly the greatest way to judge the teams tbh. Win % also isn't a good barometer considering teams tactics and mentalities change during the group stages and to the knock out stages. Another thing is that Germany have a 100% record because they beat Portugal, where as Spain don't have a 100% record because Italy drew with them. I think I took the 'average' comment the wrong way though (I took it literally), which was canny daft considering it was clearly highlighted with apostrophes Italy looked to do Spain on the counter a couple of times too, but I don't think it's neccesarily a weak point for them, it's just literally the only way you can attack against them so it's highlighted as their 'weakness'. Any team that plays on the front foot is susceptible to counter-attacks, Spain have still only conceided 1 goal though (against another of the semi-finalists) and have probably had the least clear cut chances created against them in the tournament too. Saying that, Portugal were absolutely lethal on the counter against Holland, but they wont get as many chances as the did in that game here.

We really need to group together and do the valliant thing here lads, thumbs down on that comment.

When Shola scored against the mackems I accidentaly hoyed an empty pint glass at some woman like Slipped out of my hand and travelled an ungodly distance but luckily it somehow didn't smash and just missed her shin, she went fucking wild. Tried to appologise about 6-7 times and eventualy just told her to shup up (badass).
